Big match of R2 has to be the Ballon/Gilbert slug fest - must be tough getting knocked out after shooting the low-score from R1. My wife wants to thank Chris for sending me home. So, there is time for cinema tomorrow, instead of playing more Rounds Out after ten under par is pretty tough, but beaten by the Masters Champ isn't really a shame for me. And i think Chris and i delivered a good show with combined -21. Great shooting Chris, keep it going. Thanks, Mike. I had to have an amazing round to hold on. I would say that match was one for the ages. All the television outlets are calling it the greatest match they've ever seen... My wife, however, is giving me the stink eye. So did I REALLY win? ? Good luck the rest of the season!

Silly question but it may come into play. What weeks' WGR are we going by.. The one at the time of the draw or the current one. I could see a person who is lets say ranked 25th at the time of the draw, jump to 19th and be above the person they are playing. Which ranking is the one for ties? I was wondering the same thing as I was on my way into work.

Feeling slightly better about my first round exit now - my potential 2nd Round opponent shot an exceptional 61 which i almost certainly couldn't have matched Maybe, maybe not...the 2nd day course was easier than round 1. But being in the field is a pretty high honor. Top 64 in the world is definitely special. Really, I thought round 2 was tougher than 1. The scores on PS4 leaderboard seemed worse in R2 compared to 1 as well. I did find the 5th round pin locations a bit easier than the 4th round......unless I was just hitting the ball in the proper spot and not pin high 20 feet away as I seemed to keep doing in R4.
Hats off to the course though, very enjoyable and a tough but fair test.

Well after a very F**Ked up day I have to warn you all the following: Don't try and watch a person play a tourney round live if you haven't already played the tourney round!
Long story short I tried this with Brionne's and Shep's round, and it messed up their game so I left. What followed next was me playing my round from the tournament window, finishing it but having it show up on the practice leaderboard, I shot a -5. Trying to come back into the tourney, I kept getting paired up with Brionne and Shep (even after they finished their round), the game freezing, kicking me back into the practice round course, coming back where one to four holes i just played were erased and I was starting several holes back again, over and over again. For almost four hours I tried to play one course and on just about every hole (sometimes every shot) I was being punted back to the practice round, freezing or being taken back a shot or two OR HOLE or FOUR. For an 18 hole course, I played #10-14 5 times and had eagles turn in to pars, back to birdies, back to bogeys and back to pars. I was -7 at one point to +3 at another and every score in between. It was insanity as I played a total of 52 holes before I gave up.
The whole time admin was made aware of the situation and Brionne was kind enough to send an email saying he saw me exit and auto join their live round multiple times each hole and watched my scores bounce from -3, to -5, to +2 to -1 all while not moving forward on any holes. I'd like to say sorry to Brionne and Shep if all the autojoining hurt your play at all, I wasn't joining the game was doing it! All in all the admin let me create another tourney that was bug free and allowed me to play that round. After playing a practice round, 52 holes and another 18 I was spent and could only manage a 72. So grats to Charles Chapman, good luck to him and Mr. Bird on moving forward.
Lesson here, don't join a live tourney unless you shot it already otherwise the game will F*** you up!

Lol, played my rnd 3 about 5 hrs ago in wind bouncing between 10 and 14 mph struggled to a 65, which end up being 3-4 too many, so I am out in Rnd 3 had fun thou. Hopefully when api is made available Tim is able to pull hole by hole scores from the server and have matches played as proper match play.

Yeah the winds from 1am to 9;30pm as writing this have stayed consistently from 14-17mph. Can't wait for MAY!

Uhm I just finished my third round in 18mph winds and unfortunately could only manage a +1 (73). My first 70+ round ever on TGCT. But anyways the bracket says I shot 63 and advanced which isn't true. I also haven't submitted my round 3 cores yet. While I would love to advance that is not the case.

Also congrats Daniel on advancing. I'd love to get beat by the eventual winner.

I will probably be knocked out in Round 4 as i shot a rather disappointing 71.
I went on and played the last two after that anyway and shot 66 and 65.

Friends, please don't golf under the influence. It leads to water balls and over-par scoring. Don't say you haven't been warned.
Sigh. Good luck to the rest of the participants!

Good luck to those remaining. Playing in 15-17mph winds the whole round3 was fun...but not conducive to winning. Grinded out a -3 which I thought overall was pretty dang good. On the fun side, I did bomb two drives over 360yds!

So after initially thinking I was likely to go out in round 2, I have managed to sneak into the semi final. I managed to shoot -10 and -11 in rounds 3 and 4 to get me there, I think it helped that I wasn't facing these 17mph winds! So in my semi final I have James Gemmill or the mighty Brionne. I have not shot as good a score in the semi so its quite likely my journey will end there, but overall I'm happy with how the tournament has gone. I have had half decent winds for most of my rounds so I have clearly been very lucky to get through.

Congrats and good luck the rest of the way.
