Abisko Park:
Set within Sweden's “Abisko National Park” this picturesque 18 hole golf course offers some stunning views of the Scandinavian Mountains which surround it on all sides. Simon, just played the course. Let me start off by saying that the 17th tee shot (and the view) is one of the coolest I've seen in a long time. It was stunningly framed. Leaving the camera behind the player and see the ball fly down the fairway was awesome. The course has a whole bunch of cool and fun to play holes and approach shots. I didn't care overly much for the planting - I would rather have seen you gone completely tree-less for this course as most of the park is situated above tree level. I've mulled making a course based in the Abisko national park myself and I think that maybe the countryside theme would have been a better fit - the Swiss mountains in the background are bit too brutal to fit with the theme, IMHO. Edit: To clarify, the planting isn't bad, it just didn't fit with the Abisko theme - or what Swedes generally associate with Abisko Nat. Park. There are forests up there but they're not at such a high altitude. ![](https://www.sverigesnationalparker.se/globalassets/abisko/karusell-3000x1875/abisko-nationalpark-lapporten.jpg) That said it's a well executed course and I had a fun round shot making my way around it!

Many thanks for your kind & constructive criticism comments Alex. I Completely understand about the trees & planting. Honestly, I just looked for a place in Sweden to name the course after. I didn't source any photographic realism to the area just based it on the "quick facts" about Abisko from Google maps. I liked that it said it was surrounded by mountains & that was all the inspiration I needed. ![](https://i.imgur.com/Kuy9y8n.png) Happy its been approved to the database & several society admins have already agreed to schedule it. If my last course (Vanquish Point) is anything to go off it should get a couple of thousand plays & it's currently rated 4½ stars in game so I'm I'm very pleased with that.

SAM I just got done playing your course. It's a lot of fun - greens play well, and there are some stunning views to be had. I thought there were a few holes I didn't like in terms of their design (2 and 8 with the sharp doglegs especially) and I do have some questions about the 563 yard 2nd hole being a par four, but I enjoyed the round. Nice work man! What other courses do you have in 2k21 (originals and ports)?

Cheers smudge22 I always set out to make my courses "fun to play" & usually end up making a couple of quirky holes along the way. Glad you enjoyed it like a good "cup o' tea" should be cd06 ... thanks for your kind comments & feedback. I understand your concerns with the 2 sharp dogleg holes especially the waypoint distance on #2. Both are downhill off the tee & pretty easy to "cut" leaving a mid to long iron into the green but even if you play safe a wood will suffice due to the elevation. I will keep in mind your comments though & ensure future doglegs aren't so long or severe. Here's my current TGCTours 2K21 Portfolio & a link to my designer page. >>>> ![](https://i.imgur.com/OZmPt4y.png) I've also got a 5 star putter only mini golf course available which is an absolute blast to play >>>>>>> ![](https://i.imgur.com/25vtXpJ.png) I'm currently working on a tropical themed Caribbean course titled "Buccaneer Caverns" which should be ready to play by early June >>>> ![](https://i.imgur.com/ovxNXkx.jpg)
