Kisatchie Cove has been published. This course was inspired by my childhood memories when me and my family would go visit my cousins who live out in the Louisiana country. Along the 3 hour drive we would pass through and around the Kisatchie National Forest. Tall pine trees and dirt roads were all too common. Golf courses were beautiful with a natural look but most didn’t have it in their budget for cart paths.
This course has 3 sets of tees and measures 7,249 yards. Medium winds and southern hospitality await you as your need to try to work the ball towards the pins. Should be an easy course for most but there are a couple of challenging holes to think about (#2 and #12) in particular both par 3’s. Ensured there are various options to choose off the tee box and included some really nice sight lines on several holes. Give it a play and let me know what you think of my 4th course.

Like to thank the person who reviewed my course for the “Tour Worthy” status. I don’t design for that reason but it’s a nice indication of my progress as a designer. Wish I would have known about the rookie design contest before it was too late. I probably picked a bad time to publish as there are so many coming out over the last few days. Hope everyone gets a chance to play. Also like to thank Thomas (Tpetro) for his help with getting a better vision of design of understanding. Totally going to get better from here on out.

Very creative looking course here. I'm a sucker for the browned out look when it is done right. I especially like the use of the columns with the stands too. May have to steal that one for a future links course.

JWTexan- thanks buddy! Feel free to steal it. I was actually going to brink in the whole thing but ran out of meter! Thanks again for the compliment.
Viking- hope you enjoyed the round.

This course is a victim of bad publish timing. Sandwiched between a stellar Rookie Contest and The Dream Team Contest, it's very easy for courses to get "lost" amongst the wave of great publishes. This course looked awesome in the screenshots by karma4u , and Tour Worthy status is usually a good indicator that a course doesn't suck. This course most definitely doesn't suck. Of course, I loved the rock work on holes like #8. Every tee view seemed to be very well framed, and I really enjoyed the greens. The only negative I can come up with is the timing of the publish. Published a month ago or a month from now, this course would have a whole lot more plays. Great work man! I truly enjoyed my round, and look forward to your next course.

Excellent golf course! Enjoyed the variety of the holes, great layout. I really liked the last two holes, they seemed to stick out to me. The par 3's were well done. The Greens were tough, but fair. Tour Worthy is well deserved for this course imo. The dragonflies on some tee boxes and I think one Green was a nice little feature too. Keep up the great work, so many great new designers in the community. Your course would stack up really well in the Rookie Design Contest. What were your favorite holes/stretch of holes to design?

Thanks man! Appreciate the feedback! Yeah wish I knew about the rookie contest think I came in a little after it was full. Glad you liked the last two holes. I like trying something new so loved how 18 turned out and made 17 green to make you think where to land the ball. For me I love #2, 14, and 12 the best. Thanks again for playing!

solid course for sure! What compelled you to put those insects on the 9th and 11th tee boxes? Those are evil and definitely messed with my swing!
