Ha - the Decanter was always meant to be a par three nine hole course until Wes suggested adding a nine hole putting loop as well. We’d already earmarked a putting green site so I just tripled that in size, added a few mounds for quirk, messed with the land a bit and found some fun pin locations that gave interesting putts. Probably only took about half an hour all told but it was a lot of fun to work with! Helps that I have some experience with funky greens 🙂
Glad you liked it - that course was always meant to be pure entertainment and madness for an alt shot.

Damn, I wish this game had flyovers. Loved watching drives and seeing the other courses in the background. Some mighty fine work, fellas.

WOW! Whiskey Run has over 3,000 plays already. I marked all 5 as favorites this morning and will try to play a few this evening.

Just played all 4 courses...Master clubs green grids on.no scout cameras....2.05 difficulty
Ranch.......7 over (18th pin set 1 very tricky cost me a 8 i think) Dunes.......1 over Trails.........2 under Run...........even Par
Very good courses for master clubs i feel, plenty of room of the tee and around the greens so you can get up and down,Hoping courses like this are the future i am sure the designers would say they design better courses on there own with more objects/room to work with. This is just a personal view a little bit of a shame all 4 courses the same sort of style, would have been nice i feel a more links type course in there some where.Would not say any one course is better than the rest. Also a bit of a shame did not see the clubhouse from any of the courses playing the way i did.
After watching the trailer and canuck's promotion maybe i was expecting something which was not there,Enjoyed the courses but after the build up felt a little bit let down when i know the designers involved can design awesome courses.Saying all that had a great 80 minutes of fun and that is what's it is all about.
Prefer courses like Frome Somerset over these type of courses, but thats why the 2k21 brand is so good something for everyone and all enjoy different things.

Were people complaining about them? I suspect it's to do with speeding up the gameplay. No real reason though - it'd be nice to have had the option to toggle them on or off.

Thanks for the showcase jimgem. Your videos on any of my courses will always be a highlight since it was YouTube videos from you and Andre that helped me find the game in the first place. Looking forward to seeing you finish out the resort!

I can't wait to play the Bandon "how would you split 10 rounds between the courses?" game.
Ok I just finished all 5. After one round, I think I have my 10 round split. All 5 courses were fantastic and 5-star worthy, but for the sake of something interesting and not splitting the rounds as evenly as possible, here's my 10:
5 - Dunes 2 - Run 2 - Ranch 1 - Trails
I'm sure this could change after another set of rounds and new pins. It also doesn't hurt that I played very well at Dunes!

You had me at Lagavulin. Hands down my favourite tipple. Maybe Ardbeg too....
This is an amazing idea, and really highlights how criminal it is that we no longer have flyovers or can scout around the course properly. Well done everyone!

Thank you for getting the game rolling! Keen to see whether it changes for you. Personally I'd be going: 3 1/2 - Trails 2 - Run, Ranch, Dunes 1/2 - Decanter (would walk off the putting green after missing my first putt and go and play the front nine on Trails again )

I think trails is underrated. The playability is top notch.
3 Trails 2 Ranch 2 Dunes 2 Run 1 Decanter(Haven't played yet, but it's worth a shot I'm sure).

Just played Dunes so far, but it is fantastic. Highlight was making a 45 foot putt for eagle on #8.
Gonna give these all a run.
