Coming off a long break from the game and caught the designer bug again... This fictional project is loosely based off of DMK's design in Los Angeles, Rolling Hills Country Club, using my own take/twists and limited abilities with the designer tools. Here's a cool little video of the re-design of RHCC - In comparison to RHCC - I've put in lots of waste bunker areas (in order to keep the plant meter low for the surrounding town/city) and narrowed up a lot of approaches in to the greens.

Looks great. Huge fan of DMK's work in general (post-Castle Course) so hope this takes some hole design aspects from his catalog as well.

Thank you! I'm a big fan as well. Although this being a fairly new interest of mine (golf in general and design), about a year, I'm not very educated on design approaches and methods. But I love the minimalist approach and feel to most of his work, as well as C&C, Gil Hanse, Doak and others. Not sure if I'll be able to capture either aspect but it's certainly enjoyable at the moment.

Thanks! I may have posted a little early to the WIP lol... I'm 50% right now and it's looking like a few more weeks. I plan on a couple of updates with pictures in the meantime.

The muni course is coming along and now finished with 7 holes. This course is short, quirky, very get-able, but could cause problems if you're not careful or hit it in the wrong spots. Par 71 - 4 par 3s, 11 par 4s, 3 par 5s. ~6380 yards from the tips. Here are a few pictures... Course Layout - I changed one of the par 4s to a par 5 after taking this picture and yardage is not 100% accurate. Hole 1 - 279/288/316 yds, 42' uphill.
