A chap called Jim gave this a playthrough last night, worth a watch as he gives an exceptional history lesson about the estate to kick off the video; I just played this course and absolutely loved it! I watched the play through and thoroughly enjoyed the history as well as the flyover. Everything about this course is first rate. It's very obvious the amount of time and effort that you put into making this. The course itself is immaculate, the surroundings are very well done, the clubhouse is phenomenal as well as the tennis courts, etc. I'm running out of superlatives for this. The bottom line is that I totally enjoyed playing this. The only thing that saddens me is the fact that most people will never appreciate the detail and all the hard work that went into making this a great RCR. Looking forward to your next project.

Thanks a lot! really kind words although I'm sure it won't be a patch on Austin once it's done and dusted! I really wanted to go into more detail in some areas but the meter restricted me a bit but I'm glad you enjoyed the immaculate course - I spent a very long time indeed nudging splines around with bunkers and nudging heavy rough nearer to the light rough without touching, it's tedious work but it's worth it I hope. I'm currently doing a links course from the UK, it's lesser known but ranked in the top 10 so hopefully it'll give you guys in the US something different to the usual Open rota courses. Here's a flyover of a couple of signature holes;

Your new project looks really interesting. I have a fascination with courses in the UK and one of my favorite things about TGC is being able to experience courses that I probably won't ever get a chance to play IRL. I'm anxious to see your progress. Good luck and keep me posted.

That’s the beauty of this game, I’d never even seen what Pine Valley was like but now I can play it! I’ll do my best to bring the UK courses to you lads and ladies across the pond!

You can start with the Kings course at Gleneagles seeing as Catholos is snubbing it in favour of the ridiculously overrated centenary course... Criminal.

Happy to have a look at it for sure if there’s some LiDAR data for it? I think Scotland is suffering from a lack of it currently unless anyone knows otherwise? The other element is the availability of photos and videos plus green maps if there’s no LiDAR available, I’ve only done RCR’s without LiDAR if I know the course intimately as I’m a perfectionist!

Absolutely loved this course, great work man. Looks beautiful and can really tell you put a lot of time into it. I watched jimgems play through and enjoyed the bit about the history of the course. I'll be playing again (probably tonight) with the other pins. Looking forward to your next course.

I certainly appreciate all of your hard work, as well as all the other designers who have done RCR's of courses from the UK. I prefer lidar courses but there are so many really good RCR's that aren't lidar based. Two of my all-time favorite TGC courses were from last year: Lahinch and Royal Portrush. And I definitely enjoy the many lesser known courses that are out there too.

This looks great, I'll give it a go. I'm an admin in a sim society that only plays real courses. So it could get in next season's list.
