I tried multiple plantings, but can't seem to adjust the size of the plants. Is there a trick , or is it something that just doesn't work correctly. Yes I realize that putting in one planting at a time is more accurate, but for the coastal whitish scrub grass, its all over so multiple plantings would be better. I can do it for the smallest size but when I make it bigger and then hit multiple plants it goes back to the smallest size. It actually worked pretty well in the original version, but it was a bit sporadic.

Sorry Bruce, but multiplanting doesn't let you choose what size you want, although it does vary the sizes and rotation in the bunch to some extent. One solution, which only works on level ground (or ground close in elevation) is to plant a group of grasses individually in a bunch, changing the sizes and rotations as you want, then multi-select this bunch, copy it, and paste it elsewhere and keep pasting till you are done. You can rotate the selected bunch, but you cannot change the elevation, so that's why this only works well if the surface is nearly level. Good planting!

It's probably the thing I'd like to see most when TGC 2037 comes out.

A question about the above method: If you copy and paste multiple objects do they move with the terrain after they are set? If you were to sculpt land around them will they move too, or just get buried or float?

I'd suggest spam planting, which is just selecting one single clump of grass then rapidly pressing the plant button as you move it around. You can just adjust the size and do it again or even spin it round as you're pressing the button. Zoom in and out to cover different areas as well, it may not be precise but you can go back and delete the ones you don't want.

You can select individual objects and raise/lower them though

Spam planting does not work for me, either on my PS4 or on my Dell G3 laptop. I do not think either one has enough processor power to do it, all that happens is I get maybe two plants and then a 2-3 second wait before the cursor moves again.

On ps4 spam planting works when your low on object meter, but as you get past the half way point you're pretty much planting everything individually. It's a headache at times.
