I'd just like to say that the tournament selectors do a great job, however I fear the CC course in two weeks will be a tad too hard for the CC guys. It's a Tropical course so high chance will be windy but the fairways are paper thin. Very very hard. Hau'oli Mino'aka. Just My thoughts. Keep it if you would like, just a heads up. Once again, you do a great job and keep up the great work, Loa Pali is terrific this week. Been having a decent time playing Hau'oli - some of the fairways can be brutal. In particular I think #14? A little ridiculous I think. My biggest problem lately stems from the green slopes - I freely admit my putting isn't where it needs to be but some of these slopes on courses lately are incredibly tough to deal with. (a few holes on Hau'oli look are placed on yellow slopes!) Maybe that's the point but I think it just takes away from fun when a high number of good, close approach shots leave you with putts 2 feet outside the cup. Back to practicing I guess.

Course selection is awful if i'm honest. It's not fun and i've withdrawn and will be taking an extended break im CC-E stop giving me courses the pga players would have struggles with!!!

i don't get all the fuss about courses being too hard for us lower cc boys same course same conditions for everyone now with wind fix - some hard some easy better guys will go up eventually and if they click and go low one week in division D good for them.. they won't be there the next week we all trying to get better to move up so some ppl just need to stop whinging and try get better the guys who spend hours of there own free time to make this happen shouldn't have to justify course selection

i personally dont care how hard or easy a course is, as long as it plays fair (especially on the greens) and looks decent, its a good choice.

Next weeks Euro course (Spartina GC) is excellent IMO. Firm but with reasonable pin positions so good shots are rewarded with decent birdie chances, but not tap ins

Interesting observation:
Course A:
FIR: 5 below 80% 44 above 90% (51% of field)
GIR: 3 below 60% 17 below 70% 21 above 80%
Putts Per Hole: 9 below 1.5 16 above 1.7 45 above 1.6 (52% of field)
Course B:
FIR: 31 below 80% (65% of field) 3 above 90%
GIR: 2 below 60% 10 below 70% 14 above 80%
Putts Per Hole: 28 below 1.5 (58% of field) 0 above 1.7 2 above 1.6
both courses are fairly similar in GIR %'s

Taste - can I have the fairways of B with the GIRs and Putt stats of A?
Actually - the FIR and GIR numbers are too high on both courses. Averages for both around 60-70% would be nice. Putts on A looks OK - average around 1.65 is perfect - but also maybe a bit on the low side considering the high GIR average.
