What a wild final round. Had two three putt bogeys but batted back making birdie on the final two holes with amazing putts to finish -10 and -38 overall. I think I made 5 bogeys for the tournament mainly due to missing on the wrong side of a tough pin and three putts. Great course and design. Was a true test!

OK, I finally got Round 1 in and I'm a bit disappointed. Didn't feel like this course fit my eye particularly well, but my course management was good early on. Lipped out a couple of short putts for birdie and left a couple of others on line but short on the front 9 and made the turn at -4. A lot of good birdie chances missed but not bad at all given my expectations. Holed out a short chip for birdie on 10 and I was off to a good start on the back 9, with my eye on maybe getting to -8 or so by the end of the round. Then on 12 I totally misjudged my approach from inside 125 yards, hit a bad chip and ended up making bogey. Another poorly judged approach on the par 5 13th and another opportunity squandered. A couple more birdies lipped out along the way and I finally managed to get 2 birdies to drop and finished at -6. I feel like I played much better than my score showed, but that's the way golf is right? I ended up enjoying this course much more than I thought I would after one practice round. Probably going to be a couple more days before I have time to play Round 2. Good luck everyone!

Finally my season officially started Is already a certain goal..i was doubtful at some point I'm really happy also cause I played a golf honestly not exceptional but solid, in conditions tougher of what i expected (I practiced using medium wind, but it was always really low, actually), but thanks to the fact that i never missed dramatically my swing and, the most important think, my putt worked really well (as it happens often, on fast greens), i scored a good -10, bogey free round. Nothing to complain about. Yes, obviously i missed two birdie putts really easy (on first two holes), but is also true that i scored at least 4 putts not easy at all. Is a good start. And I'm totally in love with the course, no matters the score. And this is really important to me. Is tough. And with the very firm greens has been brutal. Serious fun. But if every round should be always like this, after half season i would be exhausted. Totally drained. Now a check to the second round..then i'll play it tomorrow. Probably I'll need to change again some club in my bag..then ground conditions are easier, wind is tougher..i know it will be funny again We'll see..normally my ménage is that i screw everything, at some point. But i want a promo mark. Badly. So i'll try.

I am fuming pissed right now... (not really, but I was momentarily).
I played 4 rounds of CC-B at Raynor Ridge absolutely beautifully, concentrating and making wise choices the whole way through on a style of course that mentally wears me out. Then on the 70th mother effing hole my family distracts me with their shenanigans (my kids arguing and I had to intervene), leading to a mental error and my first bogey of the whole tournament. I know it's literally meaningless, but it was a personal goal of mine to make it through this tournament with no bogeys, and then I made one with TWO HOLES TO GO!!!
In any case, I birdied 17 and nearly aced 18, but tapped in my 6" birdie to finish R4 at -5.
So to review the week for Victor Lane, here are the results:
-6 -4 -10 -5 ----- -25
Probably another top 40 finish and some money in the bank for the money list. It's a marathon, not a sprint. We've got another beautiful course next week!

I also finished at -25 Mr Lane, if it hadn't been for a 72 in round one it could've been a very good week but I'm not complaining, a 60 in round four helped my score and holing a 34yd bunker shot on 17 for eagle was a highlight.

If not, If something happens I scream simply "call the police (or the firemen if something burns)" and then I pretend to be death. If there are arguments, I simply scream "take a knife and solve the issue". It works! With my two dogs is different. If they find a door open..i'm screwed.

Really enjoyed round 3 with the easier settings... course played beautifully (have to say joegolferg nailed the default lighting - made most holes pop). Recap: sitting at +1 through 36. Much better final 2 rounds.... -8 & -5 for an event total of 12 under par. Nowhere near enough to avoid a demotion mark.. how many of 'em is the question

We'll see..normally my ménage is that i screw everything, at some point. But i want a promo mark. Badly. So i'll try. Nice first round of the season, ezzino! I've got some work to do to try to catch up with you. Bah...don't be too worried. You know it, a swift don't makes a spring (I don't know if this proverb makes sense even in English 👀). What excites me is exactly that this course can punish you suddenly. Extremely. Every error is maximized. If everything works fine in my plan, I wish to practice a bit checking a pair courses for my list and rangering, then a practice round with conditions of second round..then tonight I'll try. I think everything will be decided by how much my swing will be straight in the strong wind. And how much evil has been Joe placing pins, of course. In first round I survived to a pretty sure bogey on 8, when my approach stayed short by inches, hitting the border of green and rolling down in bunker. My only luck has been that, being aware of the risk after my practice rounds, I decided to play safe and to aim really to the right of the pin, a lot, so I had the chance to save everything with a flop almost full (just some touch of loft) with lob wedge. If my ball was nearest to the pin..i don't know how i could ever save that mess. And even a double could be behind the corner. And the course is full of this kind of situations. Is really exciting to play when a course forces you to be so focused on every shot. We'll check when we are after the second Good luck mate.
