Absolutely beautiful. Love the different elevations of the fairway landing areas. Love the retaining walls around teeboxes. Absolutely love all of the thought that went into these fantastic greens! And I especially love how care and thought must be put into all of the approach shots and most of the teeshots. This is going to wind up on a Tour Masterpiece IMO. Well done!

Excellent course, tough challenge but completely fair and without the need for excessive length. 5 stars and into the favourites. Would love to see it on the European Tour.

gdog, thanks for the play-through and commentary. Shame that we lost Hitch so early; the world misses his wit.

Best opening post I've seen since the Mantis. Love the thought and care that went into this and really looking forward to giving it a play

Like the look of this course it was a tough play thru for me I am not that good at playing this game. I am sure you put plenty of hours into the design with great views from the tees, some of the narrow fairways were hard for me to land in but that as more to do with my inconsistent swing when i play this game. I am a fan of Christopher Hitchens he spoke for many people around the world what a great debater..

The course is definitely challenging, but I do believe it is possible to post a great score. All the par-4s and par-5s have safe landing areas at least 25 yards wide, and it's possible to find a makeable putt toward any pin. The steep cliffs are intended to encourage players to play safe and accept longer shots into the greens. That's what makes the course play much longer than its scorecard yardage of 6751.

It was I that took the risky shots the course is very good in my opinion it's just that i'm not that good of a player I took chances that I shouldn't have tried. I hope to play your course again in the future and improve my score it's a fun and challenging course also I am trying to play TGC tour member courses there are so many good designs. I hope by doing so it will help in the way I design my next course.
