After a DNF last week in The Open for family reasons, it looks like I'll finish this event dead last. 😏😏 Hey bud. I hope all is well with you and yours. But I got dibs on last place. Started out the event with a mediocre but respectable -7. 2nd round it all went bad. God I hate hate hate when they put up very high wind conditions!!! Did I say hate? I think I was sitting -1 after 9. But it felt so much like the game was trolling me in this round. I think the green speeds were 183. Anyway no matter where I landed my ball it would roll impossibly far just to the edge of a shelf on the green and down and off. Or it would stop dead when I needed it to roll. Putts would come impossibly close but would not fall. And I tried to be patient. However, I do have a temper. And as hard as I tried not to I kinda lost my mind. Was -3 I think after 16. Then Missed a 2 ft putt for par on 17. No idea how. It was surreal. Then I really threw a hissy fit and bogied 18, finishing E for the round. Knowing I was completely out of it already I played round 3 with the idea of not embarrassing myself. But just the opposite. More major trolling by the game and 3 VF swings in a row 2 of which ended up in water resulted in a +3 and my unboxing a new controller. I think the old one went wonky. Or maybe I caused that? Fourth round I just played speed golf to a -6 -10 for the tourney. I bet nobody bets me in the race to 50th place!!!

Think this course may have the toughest 18th hole in golf.

Think this course may have the toughest 18th hole in golf. This was the average score on 18 earlier in the year........but that was for "Medium" players, I haven't played this course so don't know how it compares: Dug this up from season 1 John Deere Classic at Harbour Pointe, most fun grind ever. Only 9 birdies at 2 holes for the whole tournament and I think this course wasn't even multi pinned so the flag was in the same spot all 4 rounds. Cut line was +12, only 16 players were under par (I was one of them) and it looks like JB Russell showed up with a final round of 87 to shoot +31

We need courses like this or harder 50% of the time Agree with this. I was utterly rubbish this week, found the course super tough and every shot seemed to be a yard short or long, or found a run off, or whatever. But you know what? I enjoyed it infinitely more than the pitch and putt John Deere, where I think I got around -55! Love the challenge of courses like this, it's not all about where I finish in comparison to everyone else, it's about enjoying 2 hours ( or 1 if I miss the cut ) of a game I'm alright at playing. I say harder the better, even though I'd probably be worse 😂

I like tough courses that are fair. I like a tough birdie but I hate a tough birdie that turns into an artificial double bogey!

This course was tough and frustrating at some times, but I really enjoy challenges. Started out with a cool 58, couldn’t miss. Chipped in for birdie on the difficult 1st in round 2, and like a fool I started believing this could be my first win. I was just all over the place from there on, -1 thru 9 and then on the back I started to get super aggressive. Ended up shooting -1 on that side as well WITHOUT a single par.
I did like the course though, and I’d like to see more tournaments with courses around this difficulty. I didn’t think it was awkward or unfair, just every shot deserved all your focus. No gimmes.

Played just to see how I would have stacked up. -29 for a T-9 would have been a decent finish 😎

Doyley did the WGR points not update after last weeks results? Don't need Doyley to answer, as yes, they have definitely updated

No I don't think they have. My 24. whatever is from my finish at the Open, not the WGC

Then it's added the wrong week's points - but it has updated

And WGR appears to have updated again - but more incorrectly than before now? For example, I appear to have gained 16+ WGR points......for 29th place in a minor event? Shouldn't gain that many if it was a full PGA event and I finished in that position (especially with dropping points from previous events)
WTF?
