Sorry if this has already been answered somewhere, but I can't find it through search. Every time I try to place a bird, they go at ground level, so they are literally halfway through the level of the ground. I can't see a raise/lower option either... I'm on PS4, so I don't know whether it's specific to there or if there's just something obvious I'm missing!

Birds are placed on the ground in the designer so that they are easier to select/move/delete later if you want to.
They fly at a pre-determined height when you play.

If you come out of the designer and play your course through the My Unpublished Courses option on the match screen (press down on your dpad) they should be airborne there, I'm led to believe.
