I signed up recently and played a Q School event. Can't remember what I shot but then I was told I had qualified for CC-G (Challenge Circuit). Then I played another Q School event (why the game allowed me to do this when I'd already, apparently, qualified I have no idea).
Now I've played in some CC-Pro event (what the heck is CC-Pro, I thought I was in CC-G?) at a course different to the one that CC-G is currently on this week.
OK, I'm a dummy, no need to let me know that, but I find the whole thing so confusing. Why am I being allowed to play events other than those being played on my current circuit (CC-G)?
And what is CC-Pro? Is it different to CC-G?
Like I said, I'm obviously misunderstanding something, but I don't know what!

There is no direct link between TGC Tours and the game as such. TGCT are allowed to pull scores from their society events automatically via an API but that's pretty much it - the game won't stop you playing any society events. You can even play the TGCT PGA event this week if you wanted - your score would count in game, but obviously won't appear on this site. You need to identify and play the correct events yourself. Sounds like you're fully completed q-school - no need to do that again. Now just join the correct society for the CC, play your rounds in time and your scores will be put on the leaderboards automagically. All the info is here... tgctours.com/Home/RulesPolicies...take a look at the "Tournament Procedures" section. Welcome to the Tours

The Q School is ran in the CC-Pro society so you would've have to join that to play Q School. But since you've landed in CC-G you need to join the CC-Am society and play your tour rounds in that. CC-Pro covers the CC flights from A-D and CC-Am covers E-Z, so just join the CC-Am and you'll be good to go.

You need to join the CC-Am society in game, that’s where the CC-G events will be played. The challenge circuit is set over two societies, CC-Pro which is challenge circuit A to D and CC-Am which is the rest of the challenge circuit. Your scores will only be used on the G leaderboard, but you can play other societies for practice if you like. Welcome to the community, enjoy your time here.
