And after Old Buckhead was discovered to be a replica of Old Corkscrew's routing, I figured this one likely was to, and I was NOT disappointed. It wasn't too tricky to figure out.

Petty. Never disappoints. Courses, posts, trolls, pettiness. All great.

Love the look you're creating here Brian! Thanks for doing this planting so we can get this out to the community. Whether another quasi-RCR or not, it's a fun course to play and would be a shame not to have it in the database as an option for another steppe themed design. Looking forward to getting it back from you (don't use all the plant meter!). LOL

And the actual designers of Southern Dunes are pretty awesome, I wouldn't have known them if it weren't for finding this course. Schmidt and Curley, they do some crazy stuff over in Asia it looks like. So how do we feel about the clubhouse area? Because there's a LOT of meter in there, and I'll be honest... I never loved the big square range.

If it's using meter that you need for the course, smash it up!

Need to crank the wind to 40-50mph to replicate Southern Dunes. That’s a beast course right in my backyard

Nothing happens, per se, but you can’t add anything else to the course. The other downside could be publishing problems or lag during play.

Can tell just from those early pictures that this will be one of my favourite courses.

I did actually have those issues publishing my last course and wondered if that could have been the culprit. P.S. Awesome looking course guys! Can't wait for the finished product.
