Forgive me ahead of time if it has been covered but I am sitting in my wife’s van heading to Valle Crucis N.C. ( shamesless plug play my course of same name LOL) but anyway here is a question
1. I was just testing the program and pulled in Quail Hollow Club (don’t worry flood I am NOT building it ) after export the plant meter was over 1/4 full . Any way to keep that lower maybe by masking more etc ? I think I’m pretty sure that’s a yes !
2. When I build courses I use a lot of the plant meter planting , usually upon completion the file size is anywhere from 2 mb but have had one ever that was about 7mb. When I brought in Quail to the architect program with the textures of the holes actually on there it was already 6.9 mb with nary a plant or a tree anywhere . Again can you give us some tips or explain why this happens
3. When designing courses sometimes toward the end of the course especially ones with a lot of sculpting and planting when you plant or drop a texture or otherwise a simple click can take more time to process which is pretty normal at least to me once I get close to the end of the course ! With this process I noticed just after opening quail hollow with nothing but the terrain and some textures , I went in to change one of the tee boxes, by deleting what was there and cleaning the shape up and when say dropping the new shape or spline it took the extra time to process as if I was at the end of a course as explained above . I hope this makes sense ... I guess I am just wondering when and if I build an RCR once I begin planting it is going to get slower and slower making simple changes and bog to a crawl to complete simple task like planting etc ...
hope my questions are making sense and with those said this is a game changer for RCR and you’ve got a bunch of people tickled to death to try their hands at courses or plots they’d probably never try before now! Most appreciative
I mean you got Doyley into the designer who hasn’t designed since PGA2000 Ha ha ha
