Sigh... If only I could find a method that allows my spaghetti lines to result in elite top-tenish scoring. [thinking emoji]
I hear 'vodka' helps

-33 after 3. ππ
Another paltry -10 in Round 3. ππ
I missed WAY too many putts over the last 2 rounds. I really should practice slower green speeds. Meh. ππ

The greens can be very slopey at times... but 163s will cause the ball to come to rest in odd spots. Like throwing a bean bag on top of your home's roof then expecting to putt from there... good luck!

I agree, I find anything 170 and higher or 150 and lower much easier to manage than 163's in almost all cases

A one shot lead going into the final round. Knew what was required to grab first place but didn't fancy my chances in high winds. Normally I'm way down the field in those conditions. However, did okay on the front 9. -6 with one stopping an inch short. Slowed down on the back 9 but a late charge and I was still in with a chance. Needed to birdie 17 and eagle 18 to take pole position. Birdie putt on 17 arcs around the hole and hovers on the back lip, yes the bloody back lip!! So then, eagle required on 18 to tie. A fast 2 hybrid to the green leaves me a 35 foot putt with around 8 feet of break. Struck it well, it's running at the hole,it must...it has to...surely!! Nooooo....trundles across the front lip and the chance of a tie has gone. Probably the closest I'll ever come to winning one of these. Back to getting my ass kicked next week π

Decidedly average play (for my expectations) sees a finish of -43. Top shooting to those in the -50s or better!!

Seems to be a few API pulls again this week. Poor bastards, or rule bending gits... like trying to pin jelly to the wall.

There needs to be more sanctions against anyone caught more than once by the API - a week or month ban from playing (on top of the actual DQ) for each subsequent offence IMO (going up each time). The first occasion for anyone is nearly always going to be 'out of the blue' - but then getting done again can only be, quite frankly, deliberate.
Pretty demoralising looking at various names (who have been pulled repeatedly) that you KNOW are therefore deliberately pushing the API right to the edge - if they get away with it one week, they gain huge WGR / money / Fedex points, which easily makes up for the weeks they get pulled. Currently not much downside to give them an incentive to 'get clean'......
