E, +1, +1.
+2 after 3 rounds. Good for me. 3rd round back nine was 8 pars and a birdie on the 18th, a few great par saves and some just missed birdie chances. Putting is slowly getting better.
Great course!

Since I just played R2, and am thinking about it (cause I'll forget by tomorrow morning..) someone answer something for me?
What is the thought process behind greens like number 17?
I have seen greens like this before, not just here. perfectly straight it seems, but with a massive 2 ft dip, straight across the middle of it. First of all, its not aesthetic at all to me, I think it looks dumb. Second, if you are on the wrong side of that dip, and off center, theres virtually no way you are going to get a decent putt. If someone is wanting to put something like that, why not stop the green before it, so people can at least use an iron, or at least make it look, I dunno, anything but that. LOL

Not a fan of ridges on greens, but love tiered greens.

Round 3 in the bag and it was tough! Lots and lots of burned edges and found myself between clubs quite a bit in those winds

Hi guys. I'm really tempted to give this a go! I think I might really enjoy the challenge and the not feeling like I have to birdie every hole! My concerns are a) it will be too hard, b) it will throw me off my regular tour game. Convince me! (Coz you obviously ALL really want me! )

Nuff said😉

Nuff said😉 The no putting grid sounds REALLY hard?! Like, on super long putts in normal mode, when there's a big gap after the grid, I can't really detect the break before the grid starts. If I wanted to practice, what do I need to change my settings to?

If I wanted to practice, what do I need to change my settings to? Green grid off, lie grid off, measurement mode precise, show wind speed off, putting marker off. Scout camera off, approach and putting camera on, follow camera off

Tried it! Holy sh1t that's hard...
LOVE tee to green play. Feels so realistic and immersive. I actually took a 3wd off the tee one hole coz I couldn't be sure of shaping it to avoid some bunkers and rough on a thinner bit of fairway.
But man, putting?! Green grid is obviously way too helpful, but no help just feels like you're putting into a black hole! It's harder than reading greens irl, in my opinion.
I had 4 pars the entire round! Haha. Managed 5 birdies! Which I'm really chuffed with. But yeah, SO many 3 putts, or worse.
I tried east lake coz that's your course for this week. Got on the green in 3 on the final hole for a birdie op, but that pin is one those with quite a lot of break right by the hole and I just couldn't read it. 5 putted for an 8.
I'm really tempted to try this tour, but I think I'd find putting too frustrating...

If you do decide to play this tour there's no shot shaping allowed anyway or lofting/delofting.. just gotta use tempo to shape your shots
