Feel I am rushing my rounds this week, E,+1 and a +6. I have a big society tournament tomorrow on a really nice course www.portersparkgolfclub.co.uk/. Hopefully the greens are fast because I putt so much better than on slow greens My third and fourth rounds were terrible. So many birdie putts lipping out, burning an edge or stopping inches short. I ended up fighting frustration along with fighting the course. I lost. Whether I hit 10 under or 10 over appreciate a good course and people that score well need to be commended. The tours where people rip the courses to pieces including TST I know is not for me as good scores have to be earned here, lawnman's 15 under is fantastic USE golf and anyone who gets close or beats it I take my hat off. On a lighter note I played a fantastic course just a 20 minute drive away from me in my society today in Hertfordshire www.portersparkgolfclub.co.uk/, everything about it was just top draw totally recommend it to our golfers here. Winter rules because of the rain but not once did I have to use that rule. The 9th hole a lovely 130 yard par 3, a really nice guy and guest to our society hit this tee shot to 6 foot made the birdie putt for a cut of the birdie 2 purse and nearest to pin trophy (pretty good camera shot by myself as you can see the ball mid flight ) . I hit my drive into the bunker just left of the pin with a slight pull, walked up to ball and had one of the worse plugged lies I'd ever had in a bunker. Couldn't get it out but managed to hit my second bunker shot to 6 foot and holed the putt for a 4.

This course is a grind! Love it! Birdies are out there as long as approaches are good and on the correct side of the pin! -3 after two. Have some chasing to do to catch toddfather. Happy with a bogey free second round.

Thanks fellers. My 3rd round humbled me a bit, but hope to make up some points after I missed last week. Was a great course selection this week as well. Cheers guys, good luck!

What a battle. Held it together nicely in the 3d round and managed to catch up with toddfather . Then the 4th round was a turn based battle where a stupid double had me chasing for most of the round. Some really nice shots from Toddfather until he started to run out of gas on the stretch. Had a chip for eagle on the last to tie it up, but it didnt drop. Really nice tourney!

That is why turn based ghosts are great and a great idea for a golf game. Not sure why the Leaderboard doesn't just show the ghost's score on the hole you're currently on, it is really annoying. Sounds like a cracking match play scenario you had that went to the last hole 😁

Yeah, just have to hammer the button so that the leaderboard doesn’t show. Still don’t get why they destroyed the leaderboards that were good in TGC1....

Week 22 results in on the very challenging East Lake GC. A great performance by Lawman1474 with a winning score of -15 including a superb second round 62 (the lowest round of the week) and an albatross on 18 in round 1,well played. 8 shots back is our standings leader colly45 on -8 and in a tie for 3rd on -4 are stoneysooner and Toddfather 20. Well played everyone this week. Next up for week 23 is Fox Chapel GC . Updated Standings table to follow...

Unfortunately for me, I started my round with beginner clubs after playing my BCT rounds. I didn't feel right continuing round 1 so I will bow out this week. Sorry guys, my fault. Sucks to miss out on the points this week. I also have an extremely busy week coming up, mostly because I'm playing golf 5 days in a row starting Wednesday so I was starting with a tight window anyway. Hope everyone plays well this week and I'll be sure to get my clubset straight next week.

-18 overall (-3,-5,-3,-7)
Deceptively tough little course. A couple hole out eagles helped the cause. Don't know if that will hold off the elites but happy with the performance this week. No blow up holes.
2 eagles, 22 birdies, 8 bogeys
