Well, I really messed up. I shot 68 and 63 with master clubs, then forgot to change back to them after testing a course on pro clubs. Shot 59 with the pros which is very good, but I feel a little dirty. No one could ever blame you for a mistake. Soon or later is easy to see who really wants to play following the rules (also the unwritten rules, that in golf are really important. Or they should..) and who should make everything to compete. And I'm sure no one could ever be doubtful on you. About this, some week ago i followed with a bit of attention the standings in cc tournaments and they are a good number, the guys who started with master clubs and after a look at the standings they decides to switch to pro clubs if things don't work as expected. And i bet that if i (or someone else) should say them that is a really sad thing to do, they would answer that is absolutely fine doing so..They're following the rules and also ethically is all fine. I think that a rule about this could be fine, to solve this, but I don't know if is actually possible to check this things. I hope that they stays a minority, at least.

I’m a bit late to the party because I kinda forgot TC@SC was hosting this week but I really hope everyone has enjoyed their rounds! If anyone hasn’t played yet, my biggest piece of advice is to hit the fairways- they’re pretty wide, but with the length of some holes the course becomes very difficult if you miss the fairway. Be careful on hole 3- we have a family of rattlesnakes that like to hang out by the rocks Also, make sure to try “The Viper” at the club bar- it’s “vicious but delicious!”

Ha. So I messed up and played Pro clubs in round 3 and shot 59. I planned on sticking with them for round 4 but messed up again and played master clubs by accident. Shot 62. I'll take it.

Various and absolutely enjoyable in every condition. I love above all the different kinds of par 3 and the short par 4 that offers a lot of different strategies. I'm really happy to play it (despite a first round in -2 that in fact killed my tourney, obviously after an easy -10 in my last practice round before to start ), it would be beautiful to play it with the crowds, but they are details. A great course, for me. Thank you for your work and to provide this course for our amusement.

Oh yeah, crowds. To be 100% honest, I got so used to not using them in TGC2 (since they were absolute lag machines back then) that I forgot to put them in since this was my first TGC19 course. My next one (if I get over my hatred for HB’s servers) will definitely include them!

Bah..you know, is not an essential thing. And I suppose is just a question of tastes. I know that a lot of guys don't like crowds, and I can understand why. It can distracts from the game, but is actually one of the reasons why i personally like it, when I play tourneys. It provides a touch of realism adding some pressure, but even some charge, if you're playing well enough, for me. Whit no need or stands or tv towers, I like just the noise But, as above said, your course is beautiful as it is. I hope to find the time to play my remaining rounds today or tomorrow, instead to reduce me at the last minute as it happened the past week...

Just ended second and third round..-7 and -10 (for a total -19) And the usual amount of missed putts and awful short game (mainly with chips. I don't know why, but while my swing is pretty straight from tee to green, but also on pitch and flops, whit chips my swing goes simply everywhere. Furthermore, for some reason, only with chips it happens very often to suffer from randomic very short swing, using pro clubs) and some unlucky bounce on greens (mostly in second round). I'm satisfied about my swing, today it works pretty well. I have the 100% of FIR, in these two rounds, if i remember well. This means that i solved the issues i had after the 2 weeks inactivity. As already said, this course is beautiful. Is a shame that I ruined everything (again) on my first round, but it happens and i can blame only myself (and i did it! ). So now I'm just trying to end with a bit of dignity this tournament and to try again next week. I hope some of you will'have more success then me

And so I ended this tournament with a pretty sad -26. I also tried some minute ago the course for the promotion event and I will not compete for it, cause while the course works fine in everything, in the first par 3's tee shot there is just a tree placed 7 yard from my face and it seems I can't cross him, no matter what I try. I hate this stupid glitch. Sincerely. I was waiting for this tournament from the start of my career here. But there's nothing I can do about it. More or less 1 course on 10 suffers this issue and is just a matter of luck. I'll try the course for this week's cc tournament, hoping it will work flawless...sh!t.

Hey ezzinomilonga, why is it so stinking hot in your italy? Been sweating out all the gelato! Cause we're becoming a tropical place, mate. To explain what I really mean, you should see what the fishermen finds in the sea. You could never believe it. 10/20 years ago was not so absurd. And is just the end of June. I would show a pair of things to those blind people who says the ozone's hole is a joke. Furthermore, in cities like Milano or Bologna, the smog doubles the hot and is simply awful. But to understand what "hot" means, you have to come here in Sicily. Possibly in Palermo, which lies in a depression on the ground, delimited by little mountains at south, east and west, the sea at north. And if scirocco blows, you can just pray for a fast death (that generally never comes ). You can trust me if I say that the gelato's sweating would be your last problem. But, at the same time, after I lived in Bologna, Genova, Milano, Roma and a lot of other places...and despite the not for humans hot, I can easily say that Palermo is still and by far the best place where i ever lived in my whole life. Then Napoli, where I lived until the last year. A fantastic place. In everything. Then Genova (a really strange and mysterious place), while Roma is the worst, for me. 0 services, a metro that is a swindle, unreal prices of...anything? and just the beauty of a lot of places to justify everything. Acceptable if you're a tourist..a nightmare if you have to live there.

Hey ezzinomilonga, why is it so stinking hot in your italy? Been sweating out all the gelato! Oh, mate. Anyway...if you and your family (or your daughter when you'll go away again) should ever have the need of some help (or something else as advices, logistic support, places where to sleep with no need to pay or...well..anything in which some help can be requested and useful) here in Italy..or if you should ever came here in Sicily...from any kind of help, please ask without thinking one second on it. If I or someone I know can help you in some way, you can be sure I'll do. A good part of my family also lives in Milano, Firenze and various places in Italy..i'm sure I can always find someone trustworthy to ask everything. The only issue could be the English, cause I suppose you are already fully aware about the fact that we Italians are not exactly aces with foreign languages but despite this, especially we who lives in the deep south are always good enough to communicate in some way But, anyway...just remember. If you need something, you have a friend here. You and your family. Enjoy your holidays

First actual tournament this past week, and got a demotion mark. -20 won't get it done but that's pretty normal for me (Xbox, masters clubs). Guess I'll just keep it going and get demoted soon enough.

Also, is the skill level of CC-C and CC-D players even that different? My -20 would have been even worse in the standings if I had been in CC-D...

I started to play by the end of Avril and in almost every tournament, here we have the higher score good enough to win a promotion mark, between the 4 cc-pro categories. Is strange, but I suppose that in the next weeks, especially after the promo event, it will be a bit more competitive.
