I'm through 3 rounds and have scored-9, -9 and -8, first two rounds I was 5 and 6 under through 9 then managed to pick up another 4 and 3 on the back. Hit a bogey on both rounds on the back 9 and got an eagle on 12 on my first round. 3rd round I was -2 after 9 and thought that it was going to be my bad round, but I managed to pick up 6 on the back and finally got the bogey free round on this course.
Just so you all know I'm going to skip the Rivalry Report this week as I've gave myself a lot of work with the Ryder Cup competition. I'm hoping to get the teams finalised (again) and do another promo video, I'm planning to make this one better.

Wow 119 greens play with my head. Felt like I was putting with a nerf ball and came up short way way too many times. Once again. Another week with zero marks either way.

Had a pretty decent first round (-13) then got to round 2 and had so many putt and chips that lingered on the very edge of the hole?? very frustrating... Did anyone else get thrown off by the slow conditions in round 2? Yep! I left a number of putts short in that round. Don't worry, it speeds up a bit.... Glad it wasn't just me! lol

Back to tour rounds again and I finished off with another 63 round to finish at -35. Doubt I'll be doing anything with that, started off with a bogey on the 1st and picked up 5 birdies on the rest of the front 9. Then scored another 5 birdies on the back, so it looks like the promo event is my best chance of moving up.
Next week could be our last with our rivalry in this flight, so go for it and we might meet up in another flight.

Well, shot a -13 (59) in round 3 and -11 (61) in round 4 to give me a total of -46. I feel like with the low scores this week I will not be taking home another trophy too soon but hopefully that score will give me a top 5 and if not a top 10. For my first week in CC-C that isn't too bad! now to take my game to the Ryder Cup matches!

Round 3 & I was 9 under through 12 before succumbing to my first bogey of the event. Finished up sitting on -28 going into the final round. Good start: Birdie, birdie & then my tempo just went haywire for no apparent reason - it was like someone at HB had flicked a switch.... managed to scramble 4 pars before walking away (made a coffee) which did the trick. Added 4 more birds before a disastrous double bogey on hole 17 ... stole a stroke back at the last to finish 33 under par for the event & wipe away the demotion mark from last week.

I'm just playing the waiting game seeing if that eagle at the 72nd hole is enough for a little green tick...

I thought I'd get my first round in as it's gonna be a busy week for me. I shot -10 with 8 birdies and an eagle, could've been more if it wasn't for a stupid missed putt on the back 9. A couple of short par 4s which are tempting to go for, good luck with your rounds this week guys.

Hi all, After scoring my second promotion mark last week, this week I had to make a difficult decision: use Master or Pro clubs in the promotion event. My reasoning was that I will probably get myself promoted to CC-B eventually with regular promotion marks and therefore using the promotion event to get to CC-B or even CC-A (probably not realistic given the score that would require) would be a waste. Might as well go all out and use Master clubs and see what happens... Well, as it turns out, I will likely be here with you guys in CC-C for at least three more weeks! That's no punishment btw - atmosphere here is nice! Long story short: the course in the promotion event is brutal and especially with hard fairways and greens and some wind and Master clubs - the latter because I am clearly not good enough for those... -3, -1, +3, -4 = -5 total score No way that's good enough for any of the Master club tours but strangely enough I did like the challenge. I'll play my CC-C rounds later this week. Best wishes, Frans

Dreadful week for me with only one halfway decent round and a total - all 4 rounds mind - of just -14. This one was another tale of burned edges and putts for par from just a few inches. I have honestly lost count of the times this has happened this week, and every round could easily have been -12 and more. Another week of "If Only" - main one right now being "if only I could get my approach shots closer". Back to the range.

Since we've moved the CC-Pro Ryder Cup competition forward to Week 15, it means Week 16 is freed up. As all flights will be playing the same course and tees I thought it would be good to seize the opportunity to set something up.
If you are using Pro Clubs for the Promotion Event you'd automatically qualify as the highest you can reach is CC-A. Master Club users may join if they fail to reach PGA, Euro or Web tours. I don't know whether to do a straight forward tournament or a knockout where the highest scoring players in each round are knocked out.
We could have a sign up window open until Monday 18th say about 9pm GMT to give players a chance to find out what flight they're on. There would be no commitment to play all 4 rounds as it's an individual competition. I didn't want to pass up the opportunity to have a competition which covers all flights from CC-A to CC-Z.
Any thoughts?
