Hi all, I played all four of this week's rounds this morning. A first for me: a bogey-free tournament! I had a slow start with -8 in the first round in easy conditions but then produced -12, -10, -11 to finish at -41. Even though this week's course is pretty easy, I am still delighted with that - easily my best ever score for four rounds. I am especially thrilled that I managed to stay calm during par streaks and could stop myself going for silly shots that would have surely ruined my score. Overall, a very pleasant tournament on an appealing course with a nice mix of conditions - we even had some very slow greens this week; woohoo!!! Best wishes, Frans

Really really laggy this course. Lag cost me at least 2 strokes in round 1. Nice course but geez. Just a lot of little jerks threw me off Definitely - there were several holes where this was really apparent, and even on the (size of a tablecloth) green on one hole. That said, there were low scores to be had - my biggest problem with this game is still unforced mistakes caused often by inadvisable attempts at flag hunting on every hole. That said,, something started to click in the last 2 rounds, and I got 65/66 for the final two but still a long way from where I was before all the changes. Getting better though.

Also got mine in this morning. I think this is one of the easiest courses we have played and I believe it’s gonna take very strong scores to crack the top 20. I finished at -33 for the week and I know that won’t be enough....just wasn’t quite feeling it. Nice course though, just not very intimidating.
Love the name though, C. Banks Dance Studios Bel Air Shootout made me laugh out loud.

Well guys after my win in CC-D I am technically in CC-C now, glad to be here and hello! My name is Avery Vereen by the way, nice to meet everyone I expect you'll be passing through, having seen your scoring, but welcome. They're a good bunch in here I've kicked off with a 58 and a 63. Hard to feel too much satisfaction having dropped to Pro clubs but should see me in the mix. Those pudding greens in round 2 were a bit of a struggle and I've managed to make a complete mess of my 3rd shot in to 18 in both rounds from a perfect position on the fairway. But -23 at half way, not too shabby

Hi all. Last week i got my 5. promotion mark in cc-d. So i was promoted to c. I played master clubs all season but i dont feel it is fair against pro clubs. So i made the change this week, and what should i say. Pro clubs are so much easier to play with, not many tempo issues and things like that. Today i played all 4 rounds, -9, -9, -12, -14 for a -44 overall. Dont know if it is enough for my first promo mark in cc-c. Good luck to all who havent played yet.

Dont think that it is enough for a win. Winner could be in the 50s.
Btw this was my first and last week with pro clubs. Simply makes no fun to me, as im searching for the biggest challenge. Im happier after making a good score with master clubs. But who cares what clubs im playing 😄

Had a pretty decent first round (-13) then got to round 2 and had so many putt and chips that lingered on the very edge of the hole?? very frustrating... Did anyone else get thrown off by the slow conditions in round 2?

Did anyone else get thrown off by the slow conditions in round 2? Yep! I left a number of putts short in that round. Don't worry, it speeds up a bit....

Well, my first tournament with Pro clubs complete, and can't help thinking I've blown a good chance to be in contention. Second round I simply didn't adapt to those pudding greens quickly enough. Third round was OK but could have been a REALLY good one but for a number of burned edges, particularly a couple of chips which just slid past the front of the hole on the back 9. And then fourth round, after not dropping a shot in the entire tournament managed to bogey the 1st after a shocker of a drive. Then did the same at 2 but thankfully managed to scramble a par, gave my head a little wobble and played better from there but simply didn't hole enough putts. An eagle at the last restored a bit of cheer, but really a case of what could have been this week.
58, 63, 62, 65 for a -40 total. Hopeful it might at least cling on to a top 20 and my first green tick, that eagle might just help me out yet....
Good luck all, plenty of scoring chances out there but those greens can bite in the last 2 rounds if you get out of position. I predict -48 for the win.

Bogey free through 36 holes with almost half of them birdied. 17 under par.... not bad but work to do if getting rid of last weeks demotion mark is to be achieved.
