Opening round -3. Only one bogey on the card but just couldn’t hole a thing. Felt like every putt had 5 foot + of break!!
Managed to rally in round 2 and shoot -7 so I’m sitting at -10 through two rounds.
Nice course. Greens are just brutal.
Hoping to have a good weekend to avoid the demotion marks.

Got through my first two rounds at -8 and -7. The greens don't necessarily look that daunting but man i am struggling big time putting. I have had 5 3 putts so far through the first 2 rounds...3 for par and 2 for bogey. Have not had this many 3 putts through an entire tournament so far. Had a 25 footer for eagle in round 2 that was downhill...the default read was to putt it at 17 foot strength...i'm thinking no way and i hit to what i think is about 8 feet...damn thing rolls right by and straight off the green. Freaking ridiculous.

^What par 5 was that on? I've honestly played this course a ton of times and never seen that.

I putted off one of the par 5 greens 2nd or 3rd round. The pin was front of the green and i had a lengthy 1ft down putt.My own fault, the course was superb. Those third round winds where the worst i’ve ever played in but scrambled round in -3. -28 overall, wherever that takes me i couldnt guess.

Round 3 is brutal...freaking brutal. How are people shooting double digit under par? I got through -2 and that was with 1 double bogey.

I missed the cut on Web again this week, so I might just play this tournament for fun later on to see where I would've finished, especially with the brutal conditions being described.

Great course and very challenging. Due to the high winds in round 3 i was as dialed in on my swing as i think i have ever been...hit lots of fairways and greens but just nothing anywhere close enough to make birdies.

I hear ya. Having to get a 60 every round to get a promo mark is nuts! What's crazy to me is that, this week, my -36 score is mid-pack for CCB, but wouldn't get me promo marks in CCC or CCD. And it wouldn't get me demo mark in CCA. Basically, it seems, QSchool was everything for me, no matter where I ended up, that's where I'd be. Settle in CCB'ers, we're all here together for the long haul. To be clear, I'm not really angry about it, in case it sounded that way. I think its interesting that I'm midpack in every CC-Pro division, that's the weird part. But for getting rivalry going, its probably a good thing. Instead of worrying about promo and demo marks, we should be talking about our money list ranking (and maybe WGR, secondarily). I'm currently 80th in the CCB money list. Where are you guys at? I think I'll start posting my WGR and money list ranking with my weekly recaps. It's what matters most now. This is my first full season on TGC Tours after playing a couple on TGC2 at the end. This is what has really confused me...looking at all of the CC-Pro and it seems the score distribution is the same regardless of the actual division. I would finish about the same spot in each division. I have a hard time wrapping my head around that. Anyway...I am having some up and down tournaments. Honestly my swing has been great and i've "mastered" Masters as far as tempo goes. I'll get the occasional screw up but those are very rare. I just struggle bad judging wind and elevation and despite hitting straight perfect perfect irons most of the time i don't leave myself a lot of easy putts. It's a great challenge though and I'm sitting at 18th on the money list right now but only 1 promotion mark so far...

Agreed, its like all of CC-Pro is really just one big division right now, barely separated by skill. I think that's a consequence of the mass Q-school reset. Sorting 2500 people based on 2 courses, 8 rounds...is really just a small sample size. It was a start but it was incomplete. It was like taking a deck of cards and just sorting by color - its a start but there's still more sorting necessary. And that's going to take time now, especially with the slower promotion/demotion process this season. That's why I'm going to focus on my WGR (dropping currently ) and my money list ranking (rising!). I'm in CC-B...the best and worst will sort out and the rest of us 'true' CCBers should be left here together at the top of the money list.

As promised: Money List Rank = 58 (up from 80 last week) WGR = 696 (down from 685 last week) OK that was a bit of a nightmare... Round 1 was a struggle on the front night, but I was able to recover for a respectable 67. Round 2 everything was feeling pretty good, and I was thinking, "I got this, I understand this course" - that got me a 63. Round 3 taught me that I understand nothing. I was a fool for thinking I understood anything. In those winds I scrambled for a 73 and felt like I had dodged a bullet. Round 4 could have gone a little better, pulled a double and bogey on the front nine and had to work work work to get back. Managed a 66. Overall, -17 for the tourney and that number looks embarrassing. Just deflating. Go for it, @spartan4knight - there's a number to beat this time. I bet you can do it! Really nice course, VctryLnSprts - thank you for it. I appreciate it. Some very tricky greens, and I felt very fairly challenged. Just the winds on Round 3 were an absolute nightmare with the narrow fairways and lateral water hazards. I don't mind 20+ winds on a more wide open course, but on this one....very frustrating. As always, follow along with the emotional rollercoaster:

Through three rds, -9, -4, -4 and I have to say it gives me a greater impression of the course playing it on tour, of course it looks great but the playability is way up there too. Terry did a top job carrying Eric on this co-lab, kidding boys.... 5 star effort.
No issue with the winds in rd 3, makes you think, concentrate and scramble just that bit harder.... really good but fair challenge.
Bound to be those that disagree, which is cool, but I hope the majority really enjoyed CC-pro this week, well played Mr Scheduler.

its like all of CC-Pro is really just one big division right now, barely separated by skill. This is exactly what you would expect, as CC-Pro is squarely in the middle of TGCTours flights. As you get closer to the middle, distribution tends to be denser. This has always been the case, but with the boom in membership, the fields are much closer in skill than they have ever been.

Finished my 4 rounds yesterday...very challenging greens and left so many birdies out there that i grazed the cup or even had a couple lip outs...including my first miss of a 2 footer on 18 in round 1 for birdie. After grazing the cup for eagle had a tap in and somehow the ball completely rimmed around the hole and out...never saw that before. I'm hopeful for a promotion mark but i think i missed too many putts for that this week.
Round 1: -8 Round 2: -7 Round 3: -3 Round 4: -7
Total: -25

I've played 3 rounds so far: R1 = (-9) R2 = (-5) R3 = (-4) Hopefully I can clear one of my demotion marks this week!
