Played all four rounds. Finished up at -34 for the week, my best four round total of the season
Feel like I could of easily got to -40 but some costly errors prevented it. Made a double bogey on one of the par 3 closing holes as my ball got stuck behind the blue stand behind the green! Lol.
Enjoyable golf anyway.

After a horrific outing in the promotion event I was hoping for a bounce back week and had a nice -12 to start out the tournament at Idleswinds. Followed it up with a -9, -10, and a bummer of a -6 final round. This tournament can be summed up by tons of missed opportunities. So many short par 4 and reachable par 5 and i didn't make nearly enough eagles to really contend this week. So many missed birdies under 15 feet i could have easily shot -12 - -15 every round. The final round tempo really got me and struggled with the putter all round missing several make-able birdies...to the point i was about to throw my controller through the TV and then it happened...a 55 foot triple breaker for eagle on 18 that goes in and you just have to laugh. Still though this course is way to easy to shoot a -6 on the final round and hope to be in contention for a promotion mark...ugh

Wow - a really rough front 9 in rounds 1 and 4 sank my score....I recovered in Rd1 but just scuffled along in Rd4. A fun course to play for sure! Overall I ended up 64-60-60-68 for a total of -36! I feel decently good about that, let's check the projections.... Somewhere around T70? Competition this season is FIERCE, ya'll. Well done. Enjoy the highs and lows with me.

You crushed me this week. I had a horrible R3 and R4 to end up at -25 for the week. I really hope I don’t get a demotion mark. I will get you next week!

alright fellas , my first post on here this season.
For each event this season I have finished mid table so to speak , no strikes either way. It's going to be tough getting up to CC-A but I think B is probably my level.
I have started this tournament pretty well with a -10 but then I notice everyone else is doing well too.
I have the special event to do at some stage and that looks very difficult , just hoping to stay below par on that one
Does anyone know if you get demotion strikes on there ? It appears that everyone below half way is getting a double demotion strike

Just a little bug on the leader-board now, since it is considered as a PGA tournament, you see the maks gain or lose as if it is a true PGA event, which is not. Nothing to loose with the promotion event.

Had a go at the promotion event, and i was doing ok (about -5 after a few holes on round 2), but then got salty on one of the greens and quit after my 9th stroke. Glad you can't get demotion strikes in that one!

I've done 3 rounds of the promotional event and am doing pretty well at -14 but cannot find myself on the leaderboard , I believe I am eligible so hopefully I will be showing on there in the morning. Had a poor finish to the CC-B event though with an even par final round , therefore I think -19 will get me my first demotion mark

Geezus, -25 gets a bloody demotion mark?? This crap is getting totally ridiculous!!! I hear ya. Having to get a 60 every round to get a promo mark is nuts! What's crazy to me is that, this week, my -36 score is mid-pack for CCB, but wouldn't get me promo marks in CCC or CCD. And it wouldn't get me demo mark in CCA. Basically, it seems, QSchool was everything for me, no matter where I ended up, that's where I'd be. Settle in CCB'ers, we're all here together for the long haul.

To be clear, I'm not really angry about it, in case it sounded that way. I think its interesting that I'm midpack in every CC-Pro division, that's the weird part. But for getting rivalry going, its probably a good thing. Instead of worrying about promo and demo marks, we should be talking about our money list ranking (and maybe WGR, secondarily). I'm currently 80th in the CCB money list. Where are you guys at? I think I'll start posting my WGR and money list ranking with my weekly recaps. It's what matters most now.

If I could get out of B by playing pro clubs I would too. But I’m actually worse with pros than I am with masters. 😞🤷♂️

Old Gobhar Farms is a collaborative design by me and Terry Grayson, inspired by the running jokes between the two of us that our designs are "goat ranches," and so it seemed appropriate to create a championship-caliber course weaving its way through little farmsteads. The layout plays fairly long, but the greens are soft and the undulations are favorable for approach shots hit to the proper areas, and a round of golf through the rolling hills, trickling creeks, and surrounding farms should hopefully be a visual treat as you endure the pressures of competition. We genuinely hope you enjoy the course, and best of luck out there!
