So I’m an Xbox user and I practice in my society called ‘Eagles Golf Society’... always the CC-Am and TST courses for the upcoming week if anyone wants a single round competitive practice before the main event. Happy to have G rivalry there, but I assume most are ps4 players.

I would love to be a part of that, this G thread has been the least active lately of all of them I think. I'm not in this flight to set it up, but if six of you can arrange a group and someone to check and post scores on this thread, it's a start. So if you mart280 loturavalentus Lego King Dog gregkael jjbuzzotta can get something going we can give you ideas to make your tour rounds more interesting I'm in F troop now after getting fast tracked a few weeks ago, although I miss my buddies in G Division.

I'm hoping to get bumped up this week, otherwise I'd be up for some more rivalry.

Thought I’d do well this week on Campbell’s run... a couple of terrible water hits blows that idea up! First two rounds, -2 and -2!

Had a quick blast round Campbells run , sheesh not looking forward to that. Recreated what I thought was the harshest conditions on the weather report, and it was all going relatively well until the 17th.... 9 off the tee, because dammit, I'm hitting the green from the tee. Or not as the case was 4 tee shots in a row.
Really not looking forward to that hole in tournament play.
As for rivalries, I've set myself up with an account on dataminer.io, to grab the data. But I'm struggling for time to do any sort of work on it.

Played 3 rounds so far, didn't really enjoy the course that much. Not sure why honestly. 64, 61, 72 so far. Not bad first two, absolutely horrific 3rd round. Hit at least 3 balls in the water. Maybe that's why I didn't enjoy it lol

Absolutely gutted by this weeks rounds. Round 1 sitting on -7 after 15 finished on -2, Round 2 sitting on -6 after 15 finished on -1, 3rd round was a decent enough round for me leaving myself on -8 going into the final round. 4th round positioning myself nicely at -7 after 14. Then it happens the wife arrived home, bogey on 15. 16th tee shot bounces into the burn, second tee shot fall right in front of marker post. Terrible choices result in a hybrid shot bouncing right off the marker into the rough at the other side of the fairway with no line to the green. Ended up taking 10.... 10, so back to Even. Now the 17th, which in my opinion requires several tonnes of earth to fill in that bloody lake*, straight in the water, putt lips the hole.. double bogey. A rescue birdie, brings be back to +1.
Finishing -6, so angry at dropping 16 shots over essentially 7 holes.
* The course is great, but that 17th hole was a nightmare for me. The strong headwind/tailwind or crosswind combined with a huge elevation drop and right between clubs made it hugely difficult to land on. Frankly if I ever see that hole again it'll be too soon.

Haven't had any time to play due to work travel. May try and crush through it tomorrow night and Saturday. Based on these responses I should probably just avoid all together.
But that's no fun.

I figured out that 16 and 17 were the really tough holes on this course. 16 nailed me almost every time. I found myself on round 4 going into the round, saying that I better be at least 2-3 shots under what I hope for by the time I get to 16 because I know I'm going to lose strokes on those last holes.
However I nailed it on the turn, 9, 10, and 11, out of twelve holes, I shot 3 pars, 7 birds, and 2 eagles.
I just hope I finished strong enough to barely squeak my way out of getting a demotion mark.
Btw, I'm in Z, but nobody seems to be talking much in there, so I thought I'd come bother you guys. I hope to be hear with you one day anyway.

I beginning to think I should be in Z too. I was only one demotion mark away, and a good two weeks, couple with multiple mediocre ones have left me partially comfortable.

Oh man... what a hole that 17th is, more correctly a nightmare green... So finished Round 1 this week Even par.... with a 10!!!!!! on the 17th... oh what I would give for those 8 putts back on one hole! 😕
Edit: As close to rage quit as I have ever got, but after a beer, decided to get all 4 rounds out of the way... followed up with at, -3, -9, -6 to finish -18 (phew, I feel better 😂)
