We play the same rules as TST. We are testing it out and will begin the season in a couple of weeks.
Also anyone who likes to play online there is a club called TGC 2019 Multiplayer Club. We have about 80 members.

The season will start this week.
We will run 15 weeks seasons with 3 majors. Regular events 3 rounds Majors 4. I am trying to have the best TST courses possible. A lot of RCRs with some great non RCR thrown in there. The payouts will be good. It is open to the public and we have 24 members so far.
Everyone is welcome.
Swing fast and take chances!

Season 2 starts next Sunday.
For anyone new it's a full season all 4 majors and a playoff. No assits and the best courses out there. It is a challenge but that is why golf is a 4LW!
Pro and Masters welcomed.

We have about 80 members. Before this starts (oops, I see it's already underway) I'm wondering if you might consider two changes: enabling the putting cursor, and enabling Scout Camera. As an avid RL golfer I find TST settings are less realistic than RL golf. With RL golf you can feel the slope of your lie on the putting surface as you walk around and this is a big part of it, plus of course reading the green visually is superior in RL golf where you can see contour much better than in the game. The scout camera is mainly a way of assessing landing areas much better than the overhead view. Scout camera really doesn't add a whole lot information more than the charts all RL tour players use in the real world and they have yardages to everything that matters, and the have full detail on the putting green as well. My playing partner of 30y and I do not use the putting grid because we can't stand the look of it and are fine w/ just using the putting cursor which helps, but in no way makes putting easy from any kind of distance because the putting cursor is fairly low resolution at 1", instead of 0.1" which would help a bit more. I find TST more tedious than fun personally and am looking for a venue for Xbox users only, that enables scout cam & putt cursor. No need for green nor lie grids which ruin the otherwise beautiful work done by the amazing course builders out there. OMG, Lake Sophia is incredible! Sounds like since this is already happening you will likely not be open to it. How can I start a society with the following rules? - XBox Only
- Putting Cursor Enabled
- Scout Cam Enabled
- No grids
- Master Clubs Only
- Player Handicap must be LESS THAN +12 (or something along those lines to eliminates people who never make swing errors, and so will turn in silly unrealistic scores). I understand there is a cadre of players who simply never miss a shot so society designers end up having to adjust for unrealistic outcomes by doing things like eliminating simple aids like the putting cursor, or making green and course conditions ridiculously fast all the time--I find all of this very UNrealistic vis a vis RL golf. We consider ourselves very fortunate as our shot outcomes are very plausible and matched to real world tour play. I'm a +7.4 handicap, and make enough bad swings where I need to get up and down from off the green, or have long 1st putts. Our long terms stats are in line w/ average or better RL tour players, and I know there are others out there who would really enjoy this, and who are also mere mortals in terms of play. The ridiculous -40 scores or better scores in TST are just goofy.

On Xbox the scores are more realistic and I tend to only use RCRs on harder settings. Beyond that that multiplayer club has 1700 members now 😁

Bumping to entice more sim style players. With a healthy following in the TGC Tours True Sim Tour & that season in full swing, thought it would be a good time to bring 4 letter word Xbox Sim Society back to the1st page.
4 letter word is an Xbox only Sim Society put together & run very neatly by FRSTDWN as is noted by the original post here. Also as mentioned in the original post, same rules apply as in the TGC Tours True Sim Tour.
Week to week the very best of the re-created real life courses listed in the TGCT database are selected to test your skills. This weeks tour stop features the outstanding re-creation of Quail Hollow Club done superbly by ACES-R-WILD which will certainly test even the best sim players.
Tournaments are 4 rounds & run from Sunday - Saturday so not too late to jump in at Quail Hollow Club this week!
All club sets are welcome with Master Clubs being the encouraged set for sim style play.
For those of you that are testing this style of play & are struggling I'll suggest don't give up on it too soon. It will take time to adjust to this style of play with The Golf Club 2019 but the rewards for a par or under par round and/or tournament are well worth the struggles.
In game search 4 letter word.
See ya on the links!
