Started my 2nd round. Tee shot hooked left, never do that. If anything I slice right. So, it’s stsrting off bad, but I manage par and from then on I right the ship and shoot -9 (62) flayed my 3rd round and I continue my form and shoot -10 (60) for a -34 and in first place! Need to take a step back now. My knees are shaking! Lol Go Kev! Looks like you've found that purple patch I left in CC-AM lol

Glad you all are having good scores, I must have sent all mine your way! hahah
These greens are just whack for me, not sure how you guys are overcoming them. I mean, I'm hitting the ball straight again, fairway in one, then on the green in two, then some of the green are just kicking my butt, taking me 3 and for putts to get it in. And even though I'm hitting the first and second shot great, that killed my score in R2.
Seriously, I played the King Congo or whatever it was, last weeks Pro or pga group course, for my practice tempo round, and I played it way better (-2) than I played what I assumed to be an easier course for the Am division this week. btw, that King Congo Silverback course is awesome. I'm a sucker for the scenic stuff and mountains, and those last three holes were amazing.

I hit a lovely 62 in R1, thought I'd continue on to round two and see if the form stayed.... nope, every time I birdied the next hole I handed the shot straight back... Luckily got a nice eagle on the first par 5 of the back nine to right things and finished with a R2 score of 67. Think I'm gonna be mid-table again at this rate! Kept getting slow tempo downswings out of nowhere and having to save par rather than go for birdie in R2.

I’m really considering going back to player clubs, I just can’t hit the tour clubs consistently and it’s so frustrating. I will play lights out one round a shoot a 62 or 63 and then follow it with a 72 or 73.

This speaks to me on a spiritual level .. just had the same thing happen to me shot 62 in rd3 and then with high hopes and aspirations of a repeat performance... in rd4 shot 73.... it hurts me to lose distance using the other clubs but I think ima have to deal with it cuz this is just not good at all

Hitting fairways and greens consistently is hands down more enjoyable than hitting a 310 yard drive 8/18 times and scrambling for par.

Well R2 73 I'm going to finish the season with tour clubs, nothing to lose. Hopefully 2019 better.

I’ll give it a shot next week .... have to swallow my pride on it ... I know I can do great with the tour clubs because Including practice rounds I had 3 straight rounds of 62 the other day but I guess they are prone to extremes

So i tried next weeks course with tour clubs, -6, go figure... probably will stick with player clubs until i get more consistent.

Well, I can say for certainty that I did not win this event. Patrick Judd, congratulations dude! Beat me by 1 stroke. Damn, I thought I had this! Lol

Played my first round last night, birdied the first 5 holes leading me to think that I was setting myself up for a great round. . . then, nothing. Two more birdies and a bogey in the final 13 holes taking me to a fairly underwhelming 65 (-6).
Putting effectively let me down, although the greens are receptive enough to be able to land close enough that it shouldn't matter.

Haha Maybe just forget what I said! Lol Good luck in rd.4 bud!
