After we played Shrewsbury earlier in the season, the designer felt encouraged and motivated to finish a couple of courses he was working on. One of them was Marahute, after a couple of holes I knew we had something special on our hands. I did not even finish the course before I was hounding the designer to allow me to use it on tour, I had to get in contact with him first before any of the other schedulers did. Sabotaging the other schedulers efforts to contact the designer might have been underhanded but it’s a dog eat dog world when it comes to course selection. I am not going to say anything about the course, I will leave you guys discover it for yourselves. I am sure most of you will enjoy it. No course is liked by everyone but I do think there will be high approval rates this week. So off to New Zealand we go for the first time on the web, enjoy and have fun.

Shrewsbury was a good course and so is Marahute; although they are totally different styles. I have played Marahute a couple of times in society events and as hmammoth doesn't want to give any previews I will just say keep two things in mind on this one. - The Fairway is your friend, Driver is not always the best option;
- Make sure you pack your SW.
I really like the course and the challenges it offers however I won't be playing this week as i managed to score an exemption to Euro for this week. More than likely I'll be back to finish off the Web season with the Dan's big 4 as I don't think my form is good enough to follow in the footsteps of c6vette2010 and eagleeth80 who used their Euro exemption last week to go straight through to a PGA exemption this week, well played. Good luck and hopefully the wind stays down for the week.

I just wanted to say I’m really happy my good friend Graham Bunting pulled through to win this past week. Graham and I play quite a bit online and I can tell you he overcame some serious issues recently. His comeback in the game has been remarkable to watch. Well done my friend.

I have had the pleasure of playing with Bill and Graham a couple of times and by pleasure I mean torture of playing with two older gentlemen who take three hours a round, grumble on about the younger generation and god forbid there is a phone call while playing, five minutes to figure out how to answer, 5 minutes of confusion trying to figure out who is calling and what they want and 10 to 15 minutes complaining about the person that called. What’s even worse though is when the old fogeys score better than me. None the less, I would like to congratulate Graham on his win and wish Bill good luck with his pga exemption. And to save me writing another response, good luck to Wes on the euro this week.

Lol Dan. We’ve actually started to play a little slower recently because when you hit a good shot you have to tell everything you did to accomplish it. On a serious note, I played almost all season in the Web, and really appreciated your hard work in scheduling great courses. Thank you.

Shot my my best ever round in the final round of this tournament. Too bad I left some strokes out there in the other rounds. We'll see how this fares.

It's been really quiet in here this week, but some crazy good scores out there. I squeaked in right at the cut line at -17, then closed with a 62 and 59 (my best on Web.com I think) to finish at -40, which is sitting in 40th place right now! Wow! It takes some seriously good scores all 4 rounds to be in contention at this level.

After my craptastic putting exhibition in the 1st Round- i put together 3 really good rounds to finish -51. With no Designs until TGC2019, maybe I can make a few promotions.

That 57-59-57 close is impressive David, that's some seriously good work. Looks like you're moving on up! Nice job on your course as well, this third round of the contest could be very interesting now that categories are out the window.

All the time that I was spending in Designer in now spent trying to get better and move up the Tours. Hopefully it pays off, I like our chances in Round 3, as good as a matchup as we could've expected. I really like your chances against POB, and I played Uluru tonight and noticed something on every single hole- so I feel like I have a fighting chance.
