PSA: I would suggest to not plan on doing extensive planting if you are creating a winter course, there's only four different options for grass and bushes. Not versatile at all and if I couldn't adjust height I probably wouldn't even want to finish it.
In other news I'll be right up on the deadline.

Just realized that 5 eastern is 4 my time, I’ll get home with an hour to spare at the most. Terrible time management by me and the planting won’t be consistent so sorry about that.

I know rules is rules and Jives was late submitting but I'm putting forth a formal motion to allow his course. Please let me know when the hearing is.

I honestly don't care either way, was my fault and there isn't any sort of prize going into it

The contest is now officially closed. I have created a poll where you can vote for your 5 favourite courses. I would like to thank all of the designers for creating such great courses for our new Pandora season. I have played every single one of them and there are so many that could easily be my top choice. I will be running another 9 hole design contest for the following season very soon. Thanks again and can I please encourage as many people as possible to vote.

I've played 6 of these so far, and using my completely non-scientific grading system, this is what I've come up with.
Yellow Archangel Dunes - 22 pts (if this course was as beautiful as Lantana Bay, it might have a near-perfect score) Winter Jasmine - 22 pts (Best overall course - just not spectacular) Lantana Bay - 20 pts (if not for the lighting, this would be #1 - can't see the cup on most greens - greens too small for slope and approach shot length) Red River - 19 pts (Decent course - greens to small to accept some approach shots) Moonflower - 17 pts (too many blind shots and that 9th hole - sorry) Horseshoe Bay - 16 pts (did not give points off for triggering the profanity filter for some reason?)
I'll play the others soon and give my results later today or tomorrow.

OK, I played 6 more. Actually 5 more because there are two Blazing Star courses, a F9 and B9. I should also say, I play these all from the back tees and pin 2. Chillingwood - 25 pts (great course all around, the cleanest of the bunch so far) Desert Rose - 24 pts (also and excellent course - plays as good as Chillingwood, but not as clean) Queen of Meadow - 20 pts (needs more planting, but still had lag?) San Agustine - 19 pts (Dude! That FW. MY EYES!!) Santa Elena - 18 pts (only 1 set of tees - course feels incomplete) So that means that my top 5 so far are: Chillingwood 25 Desert Rose 24 Archangel Dunes 22 Winter Jasmine 22 Lantana Bay 20 (wins tiebreaker of my personal opinion ) The last bunch (minus my own course) are next

My completely uninformed and unofficial Top 10 Results are: (I did include myself but I have myself as 11th on this list so I gotta step it up next comp and do something big. Also as an aside I really enjoyed the Queen of the Meadow course and have it 12th. Felt it deserved a mention. There were some good courses in the rest of the mix too but just not as polished as the top 10 here. 1. Jasmine Hills 2. Chillingwood (I believe these two to be a clear cut top 2 and would probably flip flip depending on the day. I saw alot of Scarpacci in Jives course and I think that pushes me over the top here. Jeremy Mayo is an incredible designer and Chillingwood shows that.) 3. Redbrook (Surprised by this one. Great course, clean and maybe the best atmosphere in competition with Chillingwood or Simon's Red River Valley.) 4. Blackhazel (Great strides by this designer, sculpting could still use work) 5. Cape Primrose (Some great Highlands courses in this one, I thought this was the best) 6. Red River Valley (Good work S.A.M., I thought the sculpting and brush work was much improved, some other courses just stuck out more to me on this one.) 7. Bellflower (No idea who this designer was going in, came away impressed with the course. Wasn't a huge fan of the bunker style but it was consistent and that's all that matters) 8. Whitelake (No real notes that stick out to me. A good Adam Hill course that just wasn't as strong to me as the others.) 9. San Agustin (I did not like your choice of fairway, but the planting and sculpting was great. No real complaints here Pablo) 10. Lantana - (Pretty, I just felt it could have been cleaner in the sculpting department)

I think Jeremy's was cleaner but I don't know something about yours caught me. Good job.
