RCR World Tour Calender of events for the month of April. We are starting this season following the PGA Tour schedule right after the Tour Championship and include tournaments from the European Tour.

Damn, I was like 6 inches from acing 12.
Anyway, outside of a couple short putts I missed, including a 5-footer I lipped out, played pretty well in the first round and shot a 57.

Second round was garbage, started with 2 birdies then bogeyed 3, 4, and 5. Had a lip-out on 10 in my second straight round, had another lip-out and another bogey later in the back 9. Needed a chip-in for an eagle to make it to 63.
Third round started pretty good, -8 through 12, then I lipped out a par putt on 13. Finished relatively strong for a 60.
Mis-played the first hole in the fourth round but managed to escape with a par. Birdied 2 but lipped out a 5 foot par on 3 that had an invisible double break. Put my tee shot on 4 in the rough, second shot in the bunker, managed to save par as I was just close enough to get a flop shot onto the green (a pitch would have hit the lip). Missed some birdies, made some birdies, put my tee shot on 12 to 3 feet, occasionally shouted at the wind. Was 7 inches from another hole-out eagle on 18, ended up shooting a relatively uninspiring 63 to get to -41 for the tournament.

Joined @ the start of the season and really enjoying it so far. Using these rounds as warm up for my Rocher rounds seems to be helping quite a bit!
So far this week has been more confirmation I am beyond atrocious at pitching... these short par 4's @ St. Andrews defeat me every time. I really need to start taking irons off the tee on some of these holes. Just once I would love to have a good clean round on this course, it's such a tease!

Well, not too bad I suppose. 60/61/62/57 for -48 is a solid score (based on some of the scores I saw from people who still had rounds to play I don't think I have a great chance at winning), but in all 4 rounds I had one 9 that was at least 3 strokes better than the other, so that's a little disappointing. First and third round I played great on the front 9, bad on the back; second and fourth round I played great on the back but not as well on the front (was actually pretty terrible on the front in the second round; fourth round I wasn't so bad, started with birdies on 5 of the first 8 holes before I birdied the last 10 straight).

Just finished up as well @ -50, 62-59-60-57. Had a nice eagle on 17 in Rd 4. I think I parred the first hole every round and 18 three times. Probably the difference between being in the running and bridesmaid

Hey guys, apologies for no tournament this week. I had logged it but may have been affected by server issues at the start of the week Not really sure. Regardless - its in there now so I have had to alter the length of the next 2 events to 4 days each just in order to balance everything out and get it back on track with the PS4 season. - British Masters @ Royal Lytham & St. Annes - WGC HSBC Champions @ Merion These will be followed up by the - Shriners Hospital for Children Open @ Olympia Fields Enjoy and apologies again

So, first round I hit every green in regulation and shot a 62 with 28 putts. Second round I missed 5 greens and shot a 57 with 18 putts. Go figure. I'm reasonably certain I actually sank a higher percentage of my chips than my putts inside 10 feet.
Back to 27 putts and a 62 in the third round. 22 putts and a 58 in the 4th round but that leaves me 3 shots back at the end.
The greens on this course are like putting on a shag carpet.

Ya the greens are rough. Had a tough time on PS4 last week with them, I can see the designer was trying to keep them playable with the slope of the greens but felt like every uphill putt was chronically slow and downhill putts just rolled forever.

RCR World Tour Well done to everyone who took part in our first WGC event of the year. Another great tournament lined up this week on another fantastic course - Olympia Fields North Course. Our first month of the season is nearly up, but still a long way to go with our longest season yet running all the way through to January 2019. So a lot of time to get in on the action. Hope ye enjoy the course and best of luck to everyone. Cathalos1991 Society President.
