I got off to another good start this week with a - 7 including a hole in one at the 9th. I started with an opening round - 8 last week and ended up getting a strike, so I am hoping to be able to build on my score this week.

Round 1 at Carolina Shores:
Sauntered along quite nicely, getting somewhat lost in the course, seemed on auto-pilot for much of it. Got to 6 under before somehow short-swwinging into the water on the par 3 17th for bogey. Birdied the 18th to finish the round at -6.
Looking at the stats and it seems to have been much more eventful than I remember. 53% FiR? That's an awful lot of scrambling for par.

Yeah, not like last week where it took effort to miss the fairway. I played a couple of practice rounds so far, best I could do is even par. Will probably have to hold off on drinking during my tourny if I want to keep it in the fairway!

Round Two:
Again, trundling along quite happily, 3 under after 10, then come across the ridiculous 225yd par 3 13th. Hooked left leaving long uphill putt, got close but then took two more to get down as the hole was on stupid slopes. That pin position ruins the whole course.
Finished at -3 for -9 after two.

67 and a silly 69.
Second round not helped by bogie start and then a ball in water on the second for a 6 to be +4 after 2.

Rushed through final two rounds last night. Annoyed still by that 225yd par 3 with the pin right behind ta bunker - impossible position - on round two.
Struggled to another 68(-3) with tee shots sclaffed all over the place, and then on the fourth round with almost still winds, baffled myself with a very disappointing 73(+2) to finish the tour at -10.
Glad to see the back of this one. Hopeful that I might avoid a strike this week, but to be honest, I think I deserve one for missing so many fairways and short putts.

67 -69 - 70 - 65
-13 so happy with that. Really had to pull stops out on third round as I think I gained 5 or so shots over last few holes , including eagle on 18.
Liked the few draw holes also and must make mental note to use it more often.
Edit....2 shots safe above strike. Should be ok I hope....and see Ninja right alongside me so that strike should go mate.

After my opening round - 7, I was at - 9 after Round 3. I got off to a bad start in Rd 4 and was + 2 after 2, but I made a long eagle putt at the 7th and played well on the back nine to finish with a score of. - 4. That puts me in a tie with yourself Darren at - 13.

Finished above the strikes but still seem to be back in the cc-z section. Not sure how it work but it doesn’t look good.

Finished above the strikes but still seem to be back in the cc-z section. Not sure how it work but it doesn’t look good. Wait until Monday. It takes time for the staff to finalize results at week's end. Play your rounds as normal, as both CC-Z and CC-E play out of the same society.
