Back in E and I smashed this course!
Rd 1 -9 My putter was on fire, felt like I couldn’t miss, this is the green speed I enjoy the most and always seem to do well on these types of greens
Rd 2 -9 Wanted to keep the momentum going so went straight into rd 2. Was doing ok front 9 but couldn’t get into birdie land until the back 9 when they started to roll in
Rd 3 -6 I waited until today to play despite my momentum yesterday, saw the scores of those that had already played all 4 rds and saw that scores were not only higher. So was nervous going into this rd. The wind is up and in your face a lot of the time so it makes it more challenging, again hit a good streak and managed to piece together a great rd - I think.
Rd 4 -5 I have loads of work to do this week and when I leave the rds hanging around I never get to it so decided to finish up so I can concentrate on my job this week. Windy again and it made it difficult for me to stick it close to the flag, I wasn’t reading the cross winds well at all and add in my left to right swing I was all over the place. Hit an eagle on the back 9 and chipped in twice to save the rd and give me a semi decent chance of another shot at a week in the D flight.
Good luck all!
Total -29

Ok, played a few practice rounds with Tour clubs after a successful weekend testing them, only to record a disastrous +9 for just 1 round. Hmm, back to the safety and reliability of the Player set it is. Round 1: 67(-6) Round 2: 66(-7) Laying up on the par 5s makes it much easier. thanks mike. How do I upload it? Upload it to your YouTube account then post the link here.

Here is my round 3 HIO on the par 3 11th

Sticky third round in strong winds, after decent and encouraging opening rounds. Double-dipping in the damp stuff never helps. Overall, happy with -17 on a course classed as more difficult than usual.

After 2 rounds -1 a little better today but terrible loft adjustments (clueless). They were just as bad with player clubs so if it's not the clubs then what could it be? R3 tomorrow and it will be windy from what I hear.

I am so glad this miserable week on this miserable course in this miserable game is over. Has anybody ever read Stephen King's 'Gunslinger' series? Seven books (a good read by the way) chronicling the adventures of the tortured soul that is Roland the Gunslinger, and at the end after all the drama and the joy and the heartache he kind of finds himself back at the beginning and starts all over again. Yep

Why is it all of a sudden clear strikes or double strike? What happened to single strike?

Why is it all of a sudden clear strikes or double strike? What happened to single strike? Field has gotten so large that there currently isn't any position that would qualify for a single strike. Single strike line out of 183 current players is below 91st or 92nd (I don't know which way this is rounded). There are enough players sitting a t-90 that the next position is t-101. Anything below 100 on CC is a double strike I believe.
