Donald J. Trump ✔ @realdonaldtrump The Trump Economy is setting records, and has a long way up to go....However, if anyone but me takes over in 2020 (I know the competition very well), there will be a Market Crash the likes of which has not been seen before! KEEP AMERICA GREAT I don't think he is actually wrong here; that's exactly where this train is headed. Implicit in his statement, but not actually said, is that we won't hit a market crash if he is reelected. His if-then scenario is one-sided; there is no "otherwise" clause. Most likely, the market will crash at some point whether or not Trump wins reelection. Our fiscal policies have put us well onto that track. Getting away from the syntax and semantics, gauging the financial markets is about the worst way to measure the strength of the current economy. Two-thirds of Americans do not participate in "the market" in any meaningful way. When market values increase, rich people get richer because that's who, primarily, own stocks.

This Week ✔ @thisweekabc EXCLUSIVE: In an interview with @gstephanopoulos, President Trump kept bringing up the Mueller report. Asked why it bothers him so much, Trump says, "because it's untrue. I like the truth. I'm actually a very honest guy" abcn.ws/2wZPW0M

Was Obama honest? He just didn't lie openly as much. If you are honest you can lie. Remember that.
Have you read the whole thread? I looked back. It's pretty interesting. Kinda like reading the Mueller report.
Polls have Trump losing again. Ironic don't ya think. Two straight white men one old as dirt the other pushing something that has never worked.
Go to the middle and you win. Nah impeach and have old white men with money run!
GL!

Obama lied occasionally sure. Aint no such thing as a 100% truthful human being - that holds especially for politicians unfortunately... they're in the spin game. I guess it's just a matter of degree, and on that score... in his first 10 months, Trump told nearly six times as many falsehoods as Obama did during his entire presidency. On cryptocurrency in general - the underlying idea of decentralized currency is a disruptor for sure - where it leads long term is anyone's guess, but it's certainly a haven for criminals right now. On Bitcoin in particular, I'm tending to think it's going to get regulated out of existence not because of who uses it, but because of it's insane energy use. Currently the Bitcoin network consumes more power than Switzerland

Making light of the constant lying from one of the world's most powerful figures and using that horse beating beating mantra "BUT OBAMA" as part of that defense...only a DT supporter does that with a straight face.

There's no equivalence between the lies/bending of the truth bog standard politicians make, and the kind of lying Trump partakes in (he literally says stuff, and then 3 hours later denies saying it)
If you're seriously trying to draw that comparison, you're living in one hell of a skewed reality

To even hint at what DT is doing with his lying and what the old saying is about politicians and lies is ludicrous.
Here's a YUGE challenge for anybody who wants to do it.
List as many politicians as you can that have lied to the public in the last 3 days and then turned around soon after and denied what they said even with video proof of what the lie was.
Forgot to add, you can't use anyone from DT's admin/cabinet.

www.theguardian.com/politics/2019/jun/17/jeremy-hunt-defends-trump-quoting-katie-hopkins-in-attack-on-sadiq-khanFor those who don't know who Katie Hopkins is, she's a bit like Sarah Palin, only with less credentials and MORE trolly. She called London "londistan" (as in 'muslimified') and "stab city." To be fair, knife crime is on the rise in London, and it's very worrying and depressing. Personally I'd point that towards drops in funding (from right wing govts!) for police numbers, and then more widely things like youth support services, and even more widely society's general problems. But no, they want to blame the mayor of the city instead of the people who run the country... Either way, I'd also point out (as raised in akala's awesome video I posted before,) New York's murder rate is THREE times that of London. Anyway, trump and, by extension, a front bench Tory who may end up leader, retweeting a right wing nutjob who's been discredited, fired and sued at various points for her idiotic views shows the level they're on...

I guess being from NY I'm more used to Trump's BS. You have to admit he puts himself out there way more than any President I have ever seen. I wish he would STFU and let actions speak instead but it doesn't affect my life. I got way more important things to worry about then what crap comes out of his mouth.
Lmao @ the crypto comments. I should have known.
What a party it is in here.

And it isn't just his blatant never-ending lies that amazes me, it is his hypocrisy. Remember all of the "Obama golfs too much! If I was President, I would be working all the time and never play golf, I wouldn't have time to play golf!" he used to constantly spout when Obama was President?
And now - he IS President, and he has spent more time golfing than any other President in the history of the nation. And he has spent something like 30% of his entire Presidency on vacations in his own resort properties/golf courses. Which - by the way - we taxpayers have spent over $100 million on, for him and his entourage/secret service/etc. to travel and stay there. PLUS all of that $$ goes directly into Trump's pocket, staying at his own resorts. Least productive, laziest, most hypocritical Grifter-In-Chief to occupy the Oval Office. If Obama - or any Democrat - had done that, the Republicans would be screaming bloody murder.
It will never cease to amaze me how so many millions of Americans are perfectly fine with his lies and his breaking of promises and his hypocrisy. If Democrats do it - they are traitors, lock 'em up!!! If Trump or Republicans do it - no biggie. Hillary's emails! Hillary's emails! Lock her up!! But when Trump's daughter does the same thing...crickets. If Obama goes golfing, he's a lazy bastard - if Trump golfs 10 times more than Obama - crickets. Trump was going to build a wall and have Mexico pay for it! Now - no wall, and he is using US Taxpayer funds, diverted from other areas of the budget where they were supposed to go, to try to pay for his wall (of which only 3 miles have been built, at a cost of around $3 billion, or $1 billion/mile). What do his cultists say about this? Nothing. They have NO problem with him breaking his promise and making them pay for his (non-existant) wall.
Let's face it - almost 1/2 of this country is exactly like Trump, and that is why they love him so much and why they have no problems with his lying to them and breaking his promises and his hypocrisy. And that speaks way more about the character (or lack thereof) of America's citizens than it does about Trump. They say that countries get the leaders they deserve. I must whole-heartedly agree with that statement.

Despite the fact this is repetition of all the stuff we've been saying, that is an awesome post (He also criticised Obama loads for intervention in syria...then intervened in Syria...)
