Leon, I know, I know....I am just regurgitating the same crap about Trump that everyone has been saying for years. I feel like a broken record. To myself!
But - I think it is vital that we never stop repeating Trump's lies and crimes even if it means beating a dead horse. This country forgets all too easily - the U.S. is rather famous for its short attention span and 2 minute media sound-bites before moving on to the next one. History repeats itself precisely for this reason.

I have said to myself many many beautiful times...ignore DT but in all honesty...I can't, I won't and I encourage everyone to pay attention to him or he will write an EO declaring himself president for another 3rd term or for life. He lives in a world of his own creation and we aren't any part of it.

Ohh nice, a game of Top Trump Hypocrisies... can I try this one...
Repeatedly demonises illegal immigrants. Condemns US firms who employ anyone other than American citizens. Employs a @!$# ton of illegals in his resorts...

Let's face it - almost 1/2 of this country is exactly like Trump, and that is why they love him so much and why they have no problems with his lying to them and breaking his promises and his hypocrisy. And that speaks way more about the character (or lack thereof) of America's citizens than it does about Trump. They say that countries get the leaders they deserve. I must whole-heartedly agree with that statement. I think there's alot in the theory that people vote for the likes of Trump because they secretly wish they could behave the same way and assume that because they are wealthy/"successful" they therefore must be good guys.
It's probably worse in the States (where, if you'll forgive me, I think people worship the $$$ more than they do in many countries) but i see the same thing going on here. The automatic deference to wealth & status some people have is utterly frightening.

See, you guys already have Socialism. But it's Socialism for the rich/corporations. It's depressing really. The left here repeatedly posted this would be the case when the tax cuts were announced. The right are happy to defend policies that don't actually benefit themselves at all - only benefits a very few uber-rich at the top. I wonder if it's an aspirational thing? Do most right wingers think they'll actually get to that position themselves one day? Sadly, I have to inform them they've missed the boat... socioeconomic mobility 'aint what it used to be....

This is exactly the economic point fiscal liberals have been making for 40 years: trickle-down does not work. Money in the hands of the producer does not drive economic growth. Employers do not hire people and increase wages simply because they have some excess capital. No, they increase production to meet increased demand. Money in the hands of consumers drives the economy. Consumers with more spending power tend to spend more. To meet the higher demand and to capitalize on the opportunity, producers hire more staff to increase production. That creates jobs. Missing out on making more money for the simple reason that the producer is over capacity is the incentive for business to increase capacity and hire people.

So "foreign" sounding names being used in the context it was used is now classism not bigotry/racism? Little Johnny and Susan are going to be mad they live in poverty but aren't important enough to have their social status revealed. If you (or anyone else) had written what was written, we may have reacted in a different way but once a troll always a troll and no matter how it gets spun, what was said was said and the author has to live with the fallout. As he pointed out - those are not “foreign sounding names”. Those are American lower class names. I challenge you to find a “DeJanquino” outside of the US.... Those names are of course indicative of ethnicity, but that can just as well be because those ethnicities are over-represented among the group he wanted to portray. He may just as well have used trailer park white trash names - but maybe that is not what lower class looks like where he lives... Saying people should not have free school lunch because they are black, Hispanic or a mix is racist. Saying that if they cannot pay for the lunch they should not get it for free is not rasist, and that is what seems to have been the point here. Now, this is of course no proof that the poster is not racist, he may or may not be. All I’m saying is that such conclusions cannot be drawn from that post. Fair point on earlier post history, but have there been any racism there? Most likely not. Someone has the brain power to comprehend simple logic, that gives me some faith in humanity mate! lol. My point was that free lunch for everyone is a joke, but certain people definitely need help from time-to-time, it's just a shame that those same people perpetuate the cycle instead of trying to help themselves........ I certainly could have used a trailer trash redneck name like Bucky or Crystal but that's not the diversity which I live around.
And by no means to I have to defend myself against being called a racist, people are free to think/feel however they desire. For the record I hate all people equally, I have plenty of black friends, but they are successful and intelligent and work their tails off just like I do. I know far more trash white people who but then again 80% of our population is white so the odds aren't in white peoples favor, and they are the one's who elected Trump.

On another note I need to conserve money over the summer because by wife's teacher income goes away, but I don't ask for handouts or assistance, I wake-up before sunrise and do what I have to do to feed my family (and cats).
Just look at that beautiful pumpkinseed.
This pike I'm keeping alive in my kitchen sink so I can teach my kids how to fillet it alive, that's how you know its fresh lol
America is just the best, Michigan in particular.

I don't think he's racist (probably has some weird views about race...) I just think he said something he knew was racist because it would make people angry. In other words, he's a troll.
As illustrated by posting another animal cruelty post...

As illustrated by posting another animal cruelty post... Animal cruelty lol....it's a fish, you have to cut it to get the meat, that's how the food chain works mate. Fish don't have feelings and don't feel pain FYI, they don't "think" at all, they are creatures of habit. I caught him and his 8 sister's, aunt, 15 cousins and I'll (hopefully) catch his fat mother tomorrow and feed them all to my people.

How about some veggie cruelty?!?!?! lol That fresh asparagus and shrooms I picked yesterday probably deserve a free lunch in your world right?....... And I take my fish guts and bury them in my gardens to resupply the food chain but you tools can never grasp that concept can you? I'm sure you're a vegan right because eating living things is mean. My 8 year old understands more about how the real world works than you commies.

"According to Culum Brown from Macquarie University, "Fish are more intelligent than they appear. In many areas, such as memory, their cognitive powers match or exceed those of 'higher' vertebrates including non-human primates." ... Most vertebrate species have similar brain-to-body mass ratios."
-Fish, like “higher vertebrates”, have neurotransmitters such as endorphins that relieve suffering – and the only reason for their nervous systems to produce these chemicals is to alleviate pain.
-They communicate using a range of low-frequency sounds and show affection by rubbing against each other. -Researchers have found that fish respond with distress to damaging stimuli and harmful substances, showing reactions comparable to those seen in mammals.
-Fish live in complex social communities in which they keep track of individuals and learn from one another.
-Some species build nests for their eggs by moving stones, and others build intricate sandcastle “love nests” to attract a mate.
-Contrary to what many people think, fish have excellent memories. They remember predators and threats such as fishing hooks – and actively avoid them.
-Sensory receptors found in fish resemble those in amphibians, birds, and mammals, including humans.
-Studies have shown that fish display signs of Machiavellian intelligence, such as cooperation and reconciliation.
Don't know why I bother. Response- "I'm sick of listening to experts."
