Eeep. Actually I don't even remember which course we're playing today tbh. Seaside Dunes 10th hole - which is also a par 4 - but off the backs is uphill and 590yds. (played 503 off the fronts) To be fair, apart from that and a couple of obvious autogen fairways, it's not too bad

BTW, just want to mention that I have different standards based on the events we're running. A lot of the Monday courses will be less refined courses from designers who are lesser known or just starting out. Part of this is wanting to get more people exposure, part is that I'm trying to avoid repeating courses so we need to fill out the schedule. The best of the best courses I generally reserve for weekends, the toughest courses that don't make the weekend events get played on Friday while easier courses in that quality range get Wednesdays. Tuesdays get solid courses that play pretty clean, and I'm also more willing to dig back in the archives for older courses that people may be familiar with.

So the first round today I birdied the first hole, then went ahead and parred the remaining 8, with lip-outs from 6 and 10 feet, 3 other putts I burned the edge on including an 8-footer, and 3 shots I left short (two bouncing back into the bunker). Awful stuff.
Second round I birdied the first 8 holes then left a chip that would have tied me for the lead a foot short.

Started with 3 birdies, then 3-putted from 13 feet. Then made a tough putt for an eagle. I'm really all over the place on the greens.

Had 3 3-putts in the first round, from 7, 11, and 15 feet. Shot a 65. Awful.
First hole of the second round, had very slow downswings on 2 flops, hit the pin on my third flop and ended up 11 feet away from the hole and lipped out the double bogey putt.

FYI folks, we're on the final event of season... uh... 4 I think? Anyway it's 4 rounds at the course I just released for the National Treasure context, Sekhet Aaru. After that the new season will begin, and we'll continue going through the submissions for that contest, among other courses.
