Alright, switched the weekend event to 2 rounds.
Reminder that there's a Monday event going now. I'm leading. Go beat me.

Alright, switched the weekend event to 2 rounds. Reminder that there's a Monday event going now. I'm leading. Go beat me. Hey Warhawk Saw that you had my Almhult GK scheduled for tomorrow. First of thanks for considering it, but i have to warn you unfortunately that there are a couple of yellow pins and i think they are present on all 4 pin settings.(only 1-2 yellow per round, but alot of pins have a more steep green break than i wanted) lost count how many times i played thru all pins before publishing(probably 2 hours just checking greens right before publishing) to make sure that there was no extreme pins and there weren't. However after publishing pretty much all greens suddenly had substantial changes, multiple greens had 0 yellow lines on them at all in the designer, and after publish suddenly they had both yellow and reds(!) and like i said, unfortunately a couple of those changes occurred around the pins. Just wanted to warn you(and others), I will republish with toned down greens in the future, but i dont think that will happen before new years. So if you want to skip this course now its ok, it would be fun to have people play my first effort in the designer, but at the same time i dont want to piss of people due to the greens

I won't have a chance to change it since for some reason you can only set up one-day events in the morning but I'm sure people will manage. I didn't get a chance to play the whole course but I played some of it and enjoyed it so I'm sure it'll be ok.

Yea i noticed it late and just wanted to let you and everyone playing know beforehand. luckily its somewhat slow greens and i saw a good score or two already so you are probably right Anyways thanks for picking it and for the awesome society, abit hard to keep up sometimes but i really enjoy the "odd day" par 3 courses etc, really breaks up the pace between the tour plays and often courses i wouldn't go out looking for otherwise.

Just an opinion from an occasional player - the range yardage on True Tuesdays isn't my favorite. I'll assume there are others out there that love it, because if there weren't then you obviously wouldn't have it set up that way, but it's kind of silly IMO. Even when I go play a round of golf at a local Muni I can get more accurate yardages than the "range" system in TGC. I tried to play through yesterdays event, but found it wasn't very fun having no clue how far I was actually trying to hit my shots. It after a number of holes, it just felt pointless to try. I promise I'm not moaning lol even though it may sound like it, only want to provide a different perspective. Again, just my 2 cents, and certainly not demanding changes just a suggestion that I think may help participation in those Tuesday events. Cheers.

LOL, so I started off -13 through 9 today, then 3-putted 10 and missed a 5 foot par putt.
EDIT: I then lipped out a 4 footer on 13. Bizarre thing is I made a bunch of absurd breaking putts. Made a 35 footer with a double break too.

Everyone enjoy the brutal front 9 in the wind today? Looked like the leaders at that point were around -3 or so. Managed to 3-putt on the driveable par 4 to boot, was -1 through 8. Managed to play lights out from then on though, got to -11. Hole out for eagle on 14 helped.

Boy did I choke this one away. Was sitting at -15 through 14 holes (current leader is at -16), proceeded to have 9 putts in the last 4 holes, missing from 16 feet, 11 feet, 8 feet, 8 feet, and 6 feet.

Should be a tough Black Friday event today at the Championship version of The Heritage GC.
We will then have our final events of season 3, the White Rapids Open (the usual 2-round event over the weekend) which will feature at 5,000 coin bonus, and then starting Monday, the Season 3 Championship, which will be played at Smuggler's Notch and will be 4 rounds over 1 week, with a 10,000 coin bonus. Season 4 will start the following Monday.

So I was -10 through 11 holes with just 10 putts, then I tried to cut the corner on 12, put my second shot right up against the retaining wall, and bogeyed, then missed my first putt of the round on 13. Ended up pulling it together and missing just one more putt the rest of the way, made a 6 footer to take the sole lead on 18 with a 58. 19 putts. Probably my best putting performance ever.

Hole in one at the 4th for me - but otherwise very steady and unspectacular
