Did not say that.. I have not been competing in TGC1 but I still played most weeks.. Most of the time I missed the cut on the Euro.. But I still played because it was fun.. If I get frustrated enough with a video game I will stop playing.. Some people look at video games different than others.. If not fun, I no play.. I get the "fun thing"...but try to look also from another angle. Do you think I have fun seeing you (just an example, nothing personal) swing like you don't care cause you almost can't miss the fairway where I have to sweat every shot like a 50foot parabolic putt for PAR and dealing with hazards every time the servers deicide to sh%$ themselves or I hit the stick up a quarter of an inch to the right/left? The thing is that is what golf is to me, a daunting tee shot with water all down the left knowing that my hook could happen when I don't need it. With player clubs you are in auto mode and maths all over again, that water doesn't even come into play it's so easy to hit a driver straight. The 2 clubs are's are miles apart on accuracy and tempo difficulty. I love the driving with tour clubs it takes accuracy and rhythm, and you can lose it anytime in a round. The driver is the hardest club to hit straight irl and if you want a golf simulation it need to be tough, if you want arcade you have player clubs. Will mixing them together competivaly work, I don't think so

In my experience playing on Xbox player clubs are only slightly straighter than using tour they are not as straight as the TGC1 swing I hit them straighter then I remember I did on tgc1. Maybe it's because I've been practising hard to hit tour straight. The tempo is so relaxed also,I hit 31 perfect/perfect in a row

I use the Player clubs. Quite frankly, I don't give a crap about anyone else's opinions on what clubs I use. This isn't the friggin PGA. It's a video game. Granted, I'm not a top player, but have only played a few events in TGCT. The idea that you cannot miss with the Player clubs is stupid. I'll shoot a round of -12 on one course, and then I'll go +2 on the next. My fairways and greens in regulation are both 70%. But yeah, can't miss!!
Also, I own the game on both PS4 and PC. There is a difference between the two and I perform worse on PS4 vs PC, using the DualShock controller on both.
So many people are unhinged about the stupid clubs, it's really quite amusing.

Whatever TGC Tours decides.. Most of us will go along with it.. I wont have a problem if they announce Tour Clubs only.. I will start every tourney.. I just wont finish them all

Are you playing Xbox one stock controller? yes I tried them today for 4 rounds in my local society comp after playing since release with the tour clubs and yeah they were a little easier but still not automatic to a golfer of my level, your a different level to me I've seen your scores. When I checked my stats after the comp I had only hit 72% FIR.

Love the feel of the xbox one, so won't even bother trying the DS4 When I do hit a good drive on Xbox the feel to me is like hitting a good drive in real life I look up from the strike and try and find the ball in the sky and it's great if you see it going straight. I play mostly with a little bit of draw because that's what my swing produces 9 times out of 10 but odd times I get the slow tempo slice or I'm outside the cone that way and if your already aiming at the right hand side of the fairway your automatically in the right rough. I do love trying to play with the Tour Clubs just the same as I love playing the game TST but sometimes it just gets so frustrating.

Tried Oakmont off the back tee's about 7 times recently best I could hit with tour clubs is a 71 with aids off. I do putt much better on this game and flop shot well out of bunkers. Wasn't playing TST much at the end of tgc1 , tour clubs bring a new level to it imo.

You are on a different level to me I've played about 5 rounds on Oakmont four of them in a comp of red tees and was bloody awful and once from the backs with grids on and I think I finished about +5 or something.

Irons may be a different proposition.

Irons may be a different proposition. When you play courses built to it you will. This week's Euro tourney has moments where you can gain a long advantage with Tour driver, and the Player driver won't make that sweet spot. Its full on risk/reward but worth it.
