I just came back to TGC after at least 6 months off from the PGA Tour. I will start out on the web.com tour. Loving the new Tour Club swing on TGC2! Should make Tourneys a lot more realistic! I started on Tour Clubs and do not have any idea what it is like to use the other two easier to hit clubs. I did it just like I do all Sim games I play, like racing games. I turn everything off, no assist, and just go at it. Fastest way to learn how a particular game was meant to be played, and usually most fun and challenging. Looking forward to it!

People have long memories, but then I'm a Braves fan and a Miami Dolphins fan, so you can imagine how much I love to talk about past triumphs. Still only team to go undefeated and win a Super Bowl baby! I remember that Dolphins team. Zonka (sp) Kick and Griese (sp). That was a hell of a season. I don't watch football and don't care about football but please tell me more. Go into great detail, use multiple posts, and include other people in the discussion if you so desire.

Yeah, I know because anything's better than the conversation in this train wreck of a thread, right?

Don't worry, just 5 more pages and then it'll just suddenly stop.
Then someone'll create a thread titled "Are there difficulty settings in this game?"...

I'm waiting for the return of the topic, "Is it called an Albatross or a Double Eagle?" That was a fun one.

A Double Eagle would be -4, its just stupid. A bit like that american football being played by handling the ball...

Yes the admin pay me every now and then to blow up a thread to something completely unrelated so they can close it. Hey it's a good gig.

I agree that it's stupid that a double eagle is -3 and it should be -4, but I'm just going by heat the golf world says... and that is that both Albatross and Double Eagle describe -3

@wagtunes and Brighttail. As far as the Mets go I was just a toddler when they won the world series so I didn't get to benefit from any of that. Although I definitely remember Tom Seaver. My favorite player was an unknown, Felix Milan. He used to choke way up on the bat. Was fascinated with that. I moved out of the New York area in 1980 and down to Florida and then became a Braves fan. Primarily because that was the only thing on TV down here. And boy were they bad throughout the 1980s. But they made up for in the 90s for sure. I regularly travel up to Atlanta to attend Braves Home stands. Usually about three times a year. I did not go this year though. As far as football I missed the heyday of the Miami Dolphins too. By the time I was here they had Dan Marino but they never won anything much. I was always a Buccaneers fan anyway. Still I am. Through and through. But that gets difficult sometimes. Golf, player clubs, tour clubs, double eagle, albatross, cheating and controllers. There I stayed on topic

All right. I think we are all tired of this discussion. Should have ended 63 pages ago.
