I wouldn't say I'm entirely unhappy with a first round 65 in those winds, but it could have been SO much better. I missed 3 or 4 chips by inches, was inches from holing out for eagle on 3, and inches from a hole in one on 17.

Second round was terrible, basically every other hole I mishit my approach just enough to catch a slope and roll off the green, and whenever I did manage to hit a good approach shot, I missed all my putts from 10-15 feet. Only ended up with a 69 because I sank a couple chips. Ended up quitting after missing a 7-foot birdie putt on the first hole of the third round.

Oh no, looks like I somehow made this a handicapped event on PC Apologies guys, terrible mistake. Strange that the tournament leaderboard doesn't reflect the handicapped scoring but the one on the main page does.

Really weird. I finished my second round, -13 total and the leaderboard had me in 2nd place. I hit continue and the graphic showed my 2 rounds and T2 position. But back in the main society page it shows the leaderboard with handicapped scores so I'm not sure whats going on.
Can anybody on PC confirm they are seeing the same thing?
Is it normal for the in game leaderboard to show no handicapped scoring in handicapped events? Normally my scorecard would show which holes I'm giving strokes on and my net score, but I didn't see any of that.

Not sure I'm gonna finish this one, was -5 through 9 in the third round, but was starting to get inexplicable slow downswings, then took 5 shots to get out of a greenside bunker on 10 and had a quadruple bogey.

I donated 10,500 HBucks to the XB1 society just now for you AS.
I also just set a personal record for fastest rage quit. Haha! I played it smart off the tee to stay in the fairway, then hit a 7 iron to 5 feet. My birdie attempt broke so much it didn't even touch the hole. I made par and turned it off.
I need to come back when I'm not mentally destroyed. LOL

Mentally destroyed with a par Eric, I fear for you next time you get a bogey or heaven forbid worse. Keep calm and listen to ozric tentacles!

Haha, it's not so much the par as it is the fact that I am SO tired of missing short putts. Also, it's just the icing on the cake for the last few times I've played. Had some rough situations in R2 of PGA and in another society that have left me feeling drained. I want to give this society my best effort, that's why it was best to shut down and come back later.

Ive joined and played a mediocre R1 of this Major to end this season i believe?
Ill try and be a reasonably regular competitor in the forthcoming season if time allows.

I'll be filling out the remainder of the schedule this weekend. I'm waiting to see if XB1 can get to level 10 before starting season 2. Should be at least a handful of tournaments left in season 1.

I'm really happy with my performance in this major. Especially considering my past failures on this course. -23 total, 2nd place on PC for now, 3rd place at best, but a lot of time left so I'm just hoping for a top 5 finish when all is said and done.

I'm in another one of those funks where this game just wears me out. Putts that don't break the way they should, winds that either do nothing or do way more than they're supposed to, random tempo results outta nowhere, and the little stupid stuff that grates at me (i.e. a perfect drive that rolls and rolls down the fairway and then finds the first inch of the rough). Middle of round one was like a bunch of paper cuts! To answer the earlier question about why I'm mentally exhausted, here's another fun example from a different society: LMAO
