just watched the stream, way over par on player clubs and under par on tour clubs, disappointing uhh, first time playing a new swing, 2nd round having a better handle on chipping and tempo...harder course 1st, easier course 2nd? pretty easy to explain it.

yes true,I'm trying to not be negative but come on 14 shots better, hitting straighter on harder clubs, game looks great just wanted more of a test, the beta testers eluded to the tour swing being difficult but that seems not the case, roll on release day😀

True...but initially out of the gate I'm liking what I'm seeing and hearing. If it stays in the game I'll likely find something else to play. It ruined TGC...in my opinion Speaking from experience, you can still "dial-a-shot"...just probably not after the first 2 rounds you play of the game and not in the exact same way it was done in TGC1. it's impossible to have a golf game where you can't dial in a shot all it is is math and numbers

Very first time playing a new game. It is not as bad as you think.

I hope the Xbox version looks and runs just as good or close. I have some concerns after the stream but still very excited to play it. Especially TST with the HUD fade and the putting marker thing off.

Anyone seen or heard from Griffin Today? It puts the lotion on its skin. It does this whenever it's told.

Really enjoyed the stream. Looks like conservative play will be utmost important until everyone "locks in" their swing tempo for perfect-perfect every time. A repeatable and consistent swing mechanic appear to make the difference between OB and center-cut fairway.
My #1 hope is that results of shots are reflected in a consistent way, meaning if a player pulls back and thrusts forward in a similar manner five times with all things being equal, he/she should experience five similar results. All golfers hit bad shots, sure, but the game will get backlash if errant shots occur with no tangible explanation. The ability to make a video golf simulation based on the skill of manipulating a controller to make a golf swing must be the developer's biggest challenge. A huge frustration with 1 was when 92-94% shots happened, and players could only shrug their shoulders.
Curious how much a controller's newness springiness plays a role in consistency. Above all, I realllllly hope cheating is a thing of the past.

You can set it to where it forces people to play with no wind speed, just a circular meter that fills up more the stronger the wind. Also, tournament createors(society presidents) can make it where it doesn't show precise measurements to the pin, only a range. I was a harsh critic of how ridiculously easy TGC1 was, but they have done a great service to the game and communities by allowing these options, and i would be all for TGCT implementing at least the yardage range.

It has nothing to do with HB or Maximum, Best Buy sent the game out early, and given that neither HB or Maximum could be considered AAA heavyweights of the gaming industry they have would have zero power to dictate to Best Buy what they do or don't do........... It has nothing to do with the publisher? Funny stuff. Out early in Australia too How did Maximum Games let this happen...................................Funny Stuff
