Thanks to Irving for letting me play along. Enjoyed trying out the new game and interacting with you guys. Had a blast -- I'm a lot more confident now that I'm going to really love TGC2...

Maybe I didn't read through all the posts, but hasn't anyone reflected on what a major duck up this is from hbs and maximum? How could they let this happen?

It has nothing to do with HB or Maximum, Best Buy sent the game out early, and given that neither HB or Maximum could be considered AAA heavyweights of the gaming industry they have would have zero power to dictate to Best Buy what they do or don't do...........

What channel was it on? I can't find the video. Or could you only watch it live?

Great stream, so thanks to Irving for that (and archiving it for us elsewhere in the world!).
My impressions are that it feels even closer to real golf than before, especially the physics. Interesting to see Griffin pretty much never hitting it anything like as precisely as he would normally. Part of that will be playing on a PS4, but very interesting that he wasn't dialing it in by the end o the second 18.
Just a shame I have to wait another 6 days!
A side note - it seems utterly ridiculous that the NDA hasn't been lifted and we have to get our first "real" look at the game because someone's pre-order turned up a few days early!
Looking forward to more unofficial streams over the coming days - anyone got an early Xbox preorder?

Seeing and hearing a player that is top 5 on the WGR say the game is definitely tougher than TGC. That's all I need to hear and I now can't wait for the game.

Really encouraged by by what i saw gameplay wise.
Seemed that even "perfect perfect" shots had minor degrees of variation if pulled/pushed and it was impossible to exactly dial in a distance. And i was seeing inconsistent contacts from the heavy rough around the greens - so hopefully no more playing chips. Hopefully it will make it far more strategic - playing for a section of green on some holes rather than going straight at the flag etc.
Of course, people will learn the swing, and scores will not be "realistic" but i expect them to be higher - and crucially for their to be far more errors & more variation in what holes people birdie etc
Thanks for the stream guys

Glad I never got into that habit
