Enjoyed my round here Jimmy on what I thought was a very picturesque course. Played well and fair but a tad firmer than I like it. Managed -3 for a first play so gotta be happy with that.

Nice, happy you liked the visuals Thanks for giving it a play and posting the feedback. Settings at the moment are max firm fairways, medium firm greens with max speed at 187. Will probably tone it down to the 170's on release.

Received some feedback on hole 6 pin with a couple of yellow lines when looking at the approach shot, but not there when on the green and putting. This happening with anyone else?

hey nevada, dont hate me for this!!! i have not played the course yet, so these are just from looking at your photo's: in the above: good looking rock wall here, really clean and tidy. but it just ends at the bridge. this effect makes it look unfinished, i would have liked to have seen that rock wall extended to the other side of the bridge and then ending in some scrubs to take way. in the above: from the photo provided by you, this part looks to be in view of the golfer. the mulch/straw texture just goes clean through the bottom of a tree. little errors like this are easy for players to spot, and if there are many like that, it adds up in their mind and detracts from the rest of the course. these are easily fixable with a little extra time polishing up the course. in the above: there is a small patch of heavy rough that would have been better suited as light rough, for both looks and play-ability ------------------------- we all make mistakes from time to time, including myself. but if we really work to eliminate them as much as possible, especially from designers that have been around as long as you and i, things will look and play better. we are the example setters for the newer guys, lets show them how its done, the proper way. hell, i have an obvious error on my course, a small patch of heavy rough sticking through the fairway on hole 7. even after many playtests and polishing up, i never saw it, so i know how things can get missed from time to time. anyhoot, good luck here, will be playing it on a later date, once more courses are in.

No hate bro, always appreciate your input. This beta is unfinished which is why the other side of the rock wall isn't done there yet. As for the trees, I've already gone through and chopped down a ton of them that were like that after sculpting/placing large mulch areas down. I did miss that particular piece of rough though, thanks for spotting it. I'm mostly looking for playability and concept feedback for this beta. If you can give it a play and let me know what you think, that would be fantastic. The front 9 will look more complete than the back 9 but fairways, greens bunkers are all pretty much a go (with a couple of exceptions I've already fixed with the green at 6 and somewhere else that slips my mind at the moment. But give it a play, your opinion is valued man.

I'd prefer if you find a few people to play through it rather than an open publication of it, brother. lol. I don't have a problem with betas, but the "keep it on the downlow" part of it is kinda going by the wayside.

I was guilty of publishing and let folks know too. Granted I only got a LITTLE Feedback... but sorry.
