Guys, I really appreciate the feedback, and don't take this the wrong way, but there are two points I want to make here.
1) The amount of time and effort and patience required to make the course to the inch perfect detail that you guys clearly do is just not something that I can match, for reasons previously stated, therefore I will be making courses for my own benefit rather than trying to get them on tour. I focus on different aspects of course design than everyone else, I enjoy making courses but to include the detail that is on the majority of the tour courses will drive me mad.
2) Most of the points made in the previous comments and feedback are very valid, and I agree with them entirely. However, there are certainly some double standards within the site, one point in particular which refers to the light rough around the fairways and greens. Most people use and insist on a band of light rough surrounding the fairways and greens, no more than 5 yards wide/deep in most cases. Presumably the reason being it looks neater. Imagine my surprise when I started up Doubtful Dunes, the host of the next Web.com tour event, to find the rough is the same style as mine, not cut to within 5 yards of the fairway, varying in width, and the ball actually stays in it when it rolls off the fairway.
Like I said, I appreciate the feedback, and please don't take this as sour grapes because people don't like my courses, but unfortunately, work and a young family don't leave me much time to put in thousands of hours making the perfect course.
