Hi my course is Emerald Lakes GC. It's my first design so would be nice if you could take the time for a look....thanks Well we took a look and it played very difficult, which is a good thing for us! Gorgeous course. We are scheduling the course for one of our shows. Check out the preliminary play from last night.

I would love it! And I'd love if you would review my Red Deer Creek course. We played this course last night and loved it!
Thanks NobleMan and gregfordyce for playing my course. Thanks also for the favorite and the 5*. It is much appreciated! It was fun to see it played on maxed out conditions as well. My defaults for the course are soft, so I was glad to know that the course was still fair under firm and fast conditions.

Figured I would put the first post down here since it is a new year of playing. Because of the overwhelming response, we will be doing two shows a week and playing two courses per session.
Hey guys, myself (Kent Shaffer)and gregfordyce (Greg Fordyce) have a new Twitch Show - TGC Course Review - and will be broadcasting live every Thursday night at 7PM EST and Saturdays at 4PM EST. We will be reviewing/playing selected new courses submitted to us every week. As a TGCTours Ranger, I receive a lot of private messages to check out designer's courses, and we felt it would be a great idea to live-play and critique selected ones and give designers a chance to have their courses spotlighted. I review courses already for TGC and if we feel that your course is tournament ready, I can (and normally will) suggest it in the Rangers Forum (which can help in getting the course selected for possible inclusion in a TGCTours tourney). This will be a live weekly broadcast every Thursday at 7PM EST and Saturdays at 4PM EST. So please either post your courses in this thread, or you can send a message to myself or GregFordyce on the forums, for consideration to be on the show.
We have decided that there are a lot of courses out there that do not get the attention they deserve, and this is our way of helping get more exposure to the design community. This broadcast is dedicated to all the hard-working course designers for TGC!
Go to and follow us and participate in the live chat! You can also follow us on Twitter @tgccoursereview

We will be doing our first show of the year today Saturday 11/17/2018 at 4PM EST and will be playing 2 courses. The two courses are Red Deer Creek course and Bear Tracks Golf Club. We have done a preliminary playing of both courses and they are definitely worthy of being on the show! Please make an effort to be there.
We always test the boundaries of the courses by playing the back tees with everything set for very firm/very fast and medium winds. Should always be interesting to watch!

When you get a chance try out my newest design Walton Golf Toney Valley. It's a par 72 in the Swiss Theme. All of my courses are under Walton Golf so there might be another one you could check out too. Thanks. This is Hole 2 at Toney Valley.

culallen and @spartan4knight are the designers of the two courses being reviewed today - hope to see them there as well, if possible, to offer comments to anyone with questions. in the near future Kent and I hope to be having the designers on the show talking live with us (via Discord, etc.). Anyone who wishes to play with us is welcome as well (PC only, sorry).

Here is the video of both courses we played. We had only one complaint. Hole 11 Pin 4 has to be changed on the course RED DEER. Other than that both played awesome. The two courses are Red Deer Creek course and Bear Tracks Golf Club. Enjoy the video HERE

Interaction during the reviews. If you are one of the designers we would like you to join us in the actual audio instead of the messaging board. Please download either Discord or Skype. We support both.
We also encourage the playing of the courses by anyone who chooses to, at the same time we are.
Since we play on PC you will need a Steam account to play. Please message me your Steam Name and I will add you as a friend or send a friend request through Steam and I will add you, which will automatic place you in the game. The limit will be two friends at a time, in addition to myself and Greg.

Good luck with the show guys and as my courses seem to be passing people by...I'd love to know your thoughts on Autumn's Edge cc which was ported from tgc2 and my only course on 2019 so far, Underwood Retreat cc. Once again...Good luck!
We have played this course! Please check it out!

I was watching my Texas Tech Red Raiders getting their teeth kicked in by the Kansas State Wildcats. I'm sure your video was light years more entertaining than that. Looking forward to watching this later tonight.

We have so far really enjoyed the courses submitted on this thread for the show, and plan to feature all of them on the show in the near future. This coming week, due to the holiday on Thursday, we will be moving the Thursday show to Wed. evening, and most likely the Sat. show to Sunday due to family stuff. We will post later today which 2 shows will appear on each of this week's shows (2 Wed and 2 Sun).
Thanks for the submissions, keep 'em rolling in!
