No Never heard of it.
Just kidding. Yep I'm playing and loving it. Have both Battlefield 1 and Titanfall 2. Both great games with great campaigns. I think TF2 has the better campaign though. It's also because of this game that I have begun to delve into online multi player (ever) and and totally hooked. Very fast paced though and takes some getting used to. Think I'm at rank 23 now. With my main Titan Ion being level 5 or 6.
Been feeling a little off last couple days so haven't played it at all. My reflexes just are not there lately. Played a little bit of BF1 Multi yesterday in place of Titanfall, slower paced and more tactical for me in my current state.
I'm a no mic'er which people probably hate but I don't have a mic and have no desire to listen to some 12 year old squeaker smacking his lips on a bag of Doritos and slurping out of his sippy cup while his Walmart mommy is freaking out in the background because she lost her crack pipe. First thing I do now when I go into multi is hit 'mute room".
Looking forward to getting back into the action in the next day or two once I kick this little bug that I have.

Having never being a fan of FPS games it's taking me a little bit to get used to movement...especially with targeting. That being said, the game is completely addictive and well done.

I imagine you are using a controller. Not sure if you are on the PS4 or PC though. One thing I've learned from both Titanfall and Battlefield is adjusting your stick sensitivity. At 1'st I lowered it way down, but after reading around I found to actually increase it. It allows you to be able to swing around and acquire your target faster. May seem twitchy at first but once you get the fine movement honed it works. Also try using the "steady" setting in your controls setup menu. I found "classic" I just can't lock on to anything.
Don't remember my TF settings but do remember my Battlefield one. I have the "soldier sensitivity" (which is your aiming) to 73%
Edit on the fly, just started it up. Have it set to high (4)
Another little unrelated tip that helped me in regards to movement. When doing the wall running and you need to jump to a wall on the other side, I kept moving my right stick to look over there and wound up falling off the wall or landing too low on the other wall. Try to just keep looking forward as much as possible and maybe a slight turn right when you jump.

I can see where I might have been better served to get this game on PC versus console. I almost exclusively play sports games on my ps4, but I've been gaming on PC for almost 20 years with games like Ultimate Online, Asheron's Call, City Of Heroes, Guild Wars, and Guild Wars 2. Seems this game would be MUCH easier and more native to me using a gaming mouse and the WASD method of movement. If I don't pick up the nuances pretty quick then I'll get the game on my laptop where it would feel more natural.

I can't do the keyboard/mouse thing. I'm playing on PC using my usual X1 controller. Probably a disadvantage but I'm keyboard challenged, can't imagine me having to control things using it. Plus I like to lounge while playing not sitting perked up at a desk.
lol I just did a couple hours of Battlefield and was wondering why I was sucking so bad today, everyone was getting the drop on me before I could even react. Finally gave up and only just now I realized I had been playing (pc hooked up to Sony HDTV) in Cinema mode, with all the usual crap on that induces lag. One of the 1'st things I usually do is switch over to game mode...whoops lol.

Changing the settings helped quite a bit, and after spending some time in gameplay it's all coming to me now. Really glad I decided to give this one a chance.

Im not a realy good shooter...not that good reflexes...getting older...lol Tim would have to be the one to answer that as I haven't played BF1 and have no intentions of doing so. I'm a retired combat vet, so for whatever reason most FPS games don't hold much interest for me. I had watched some of the gameplay for Titanfall and looked pretty fun. I gave it a try, and I've not been disappointed. The game is super smooth, great graphics, fun, and a very cool campaign mode.

There are several different modes including one that is completely without the titans. Being able to climb up the back of a titan and remove the battery then drop grenades down the chute is awesome. Tons of different weapons and boosts as well as 6 different titans, so you're able to really tailor your setup to your style of gameplay as well as being able to switch things up depending on the situation. I don't usually hype games, but this one exceeded my expectations and is well worth a play.

Ahh I see you have ventured into the MP Griff. Cool. Errol It's hard for me to judge which is better. I'm liking both of them. Titanfall 2 has an amazing campaign, it truly is something to behold and the multiplayer is super addictive. I like the futuristic weapons and setting of Titanfall very much. I had my eye on this one for ages, the mech titan genre I love. Battlefield I think has an edge on on graphics, very realistic looking. Multiplayer is slower paced, you can be more tactical and not always running around, which is good for an old guy like me who can't always react quick enough in a more fast paced environment. I like the maps more in BF multiplayer. Titanfall there are a couple maps that I don't care for that much. "Complex" being my least favorite. A lot of people hate 'crash site' I actually love it, and it showcases the graphics of the game best. you just have to play it right, when you first start a match, don't go running straight ahead, flank. Otherwise you are into a wall of bullets and everyone charging at each other lol Either way though I think they are both great games, albeit different genres, other than them both being FPS shooters. I plan to give both these games equal amount of time, some days I may feel like the wall running and jumping and the titan combat. Others I may want a slower pace and will go for Battlefield. I'm actually considering getting Battlefield 4 for the more modern weapons and maps when I get bored of one of these. Which I don't see happening any time soon, I'm totally addicted to the multiplayer thing now. It took me years until I would even attempt it, but now as of Friday which is my 1'st adventure into MP I can't get enough. Played 3 rounds of golf this morning and couldn't wait until my 3'rd was over so I can get into some multiplayer. Played Battlefield today because I'm trying to figure out how the hell to revive someone when playing on medic. Can't seem to get that mechanic working right. But just to let TGCT know I haven't abandoned you guys. I'm advertising/spamming TGC Tours lol. My custom emblem is the TGCT logo, so when I kill someone it shows as well as the after action screen. Here I got a battlepack drop at the end of the game and the logo was there for all to see lol

I think it's one of the best games released this year. Well worth the money. This and Battlefield are taking up most my gaming time. I rangered 2 setups of a course yesterday and haven't started up the golf today at all.
Cant wait until the new dlc map comes out in a couple weeks. Angel City. Apparently was in TF 1 and it's a beloved map of those who played TF1.
For that price you can't go wrong and i think i read all dlc is going to be free. Hope im not mixing up my information (free dlc) with Battlefield.
