Rockstar has announced that pre-loading will begin on Friday, October 19 at 12 AM ET, or 9 PM PT on Thursday.
In the tweet announcing the pre-load timing, the studio also gave word that the launch trailer will debut on Thursday at 10 AM ET / 7 AM PT. That should be our last long look at the game before its launch next Friday, October 26. Rockstar is giving plenty of time for the pre-load, which makes sense given that it weighs in at a whopping 90 GB.

I am more of a mutliplayer guy but this one is going to be hard to pass up when it comes out. Sorry guys I asked before and do not feel like going back but when does the MP come out?
Also when it releases can you play with friends in some capacity?

Rockstar have said that they will open up the multi player beta at the end of November (no exact date yet) And I really have no clue if you can play with friends in some capacity. (That's never occurred to me as I have never had friends)  |

You'll be streaming it all your fellow Aussies and New Zealanders will also be playing it. Us Brits will be asleep. The North Americans will be tossing themselves off over it's release the next day so you'll be having those watching you then abusing you for playing the game 'early'.  |

It does depend if you're getting it at a midnight launch of course. That would change things a little... Fellow midnight launch Aussies and New Zealanders would be playing it, Brits would be at work and North Americans would still be tossing themselves off provided they aren't asleep.

Nah not a midnight launch  I pre-ordered the disk version, comes with a figurine, artwork book, a cloth map and a tin case The store opens at 9am so I will be outside waiting with a coffee. |
