I've got 3 gaming tags picked out for when it drops, not sure which one to use yet: And I will be basing my gameplay on the Characters traits! 1. Mattrim Cauthon, A Drinker, Gambler, Rogue and a Mischief Maker. Great with a blade or a staff. Excellent horsemanship skills. Nickname is the "Prince of Ravens" Mat is a guy that everybody wants at their side, a loyal friend, ready with a joke or a word of support and no matter how dire the situation, he will always have your back. (One of the main characters in Robert Jordans Wheel of Time series) 2. Roland Deschain, The last Gunslinger, deadly accurate with his six shooter. Lonely and always searching for his destiny. He is a good guy deep down but does some terrible things in order to get to the good. Loves his trench coat and Accubra. (Lead character in Stephen Kings The Dark Tower series, oh and the movie where he was played by Idris Elba) 3. James ConDoin, "Jimmy the Hand" Grew up as the unwanted son of a whore, orphaned by 5 years old and a street crew leader at 9. The best pick pocket on the streets of Krondor. Given a chance at a better life, Jimmy proves himself over and over again as a mastermind at problem solving, spying, stealth and as an assassin (last one never proved, that's how good he is) Jimmy has the habit of looking at everything slightly different, like a chess player preparing for a move 20 turns later when everyone else tries to play 2-3 moves ahead. (My favorite character from Raymond E. Feist's Magician series) Help me choose, oh and if anyone knows these characters as intimately me then I would LOVE to chat all about it  |

It looks like it is going to be the dogs bollocks. Typically though, I go on holiday the day after it comes out.
And TGC time is going to take a hit for a lot of people.

I've ordered from Amazon as they are £10 cheaper than buying it through PS Store, which to me is a complete farce as you have the physical disc, box etc which costs to make instead of a straight forward digital download. The downside ordering through Amazon there is no guarantee it will arrive on release day but as I go on holiday the day after, that doesn't really bother me as I won't get to play it until I am back anyway. Not that my 200Mb/s internet would have struggled.  |

Living in a small town I had 2mb then 10 then 40. Now I have fiber hitting 250. I totally get what is like to have slow internet. What sucks about it minus being slow is you pay a lot for it.
Good news is for most games you really don't need that fast of a internet. What is more important is your NAT settings, packet loss and latency.
Question about the game. I think I read the Multiplayer comes out after the release?

Yeah multiplayer will be launching as a free beta at the end of November for anyone who has purchased the game, Rockstar said they want to give people the chance to get use to the game first and that they're expecting quite a few glitches with RDR online early days. And yeah with my internet, it's just ok to play with atm but can't stream 1080p without buffering if ANYTHING else is going on, like checking an email lmao. When I switch to fiber next week I will be fine, I will be able to download something, stream hd and play live all at the same time |

Currently playing Forza Horizon 4 in attempt to fill gaming time while secretly just waiting for this. Forza is OK ...I 'spose... but not the horses I really want.
