Ok... so I just happened to do the oddest, most idiotic and unlikely thing ever... I may not be the smartest guy around and this proves it...
Here is what happened.
I have a ps4 and a pc set up in my living room and I used the ps4 to watch some Netflix with my daughter. Just some regular kids shows. Time came for my daughter to go to bed and I decided as it was not my turn to get her to sleep that I'd do some designing on pc.
I boot up the pc and connect my ps4 controller. Went in and did some basic stuff. Put down some fairways, light rough and what not. 30 minutes later my girlfriend comes back down the stairs. We make some fudge cake because... well it's awesome and we wanted to again watch some Netflix. As I knew we were going to I never turned off the Playstation in the first place so I just switched hdmi connection to the ps4.
For some reason I had ps4s terms of service up. Alarm bells should probably had gone off, but I just thought... hey that's odd. Anyway. Loaded up Netflix watched 2 episodes of a series until my girlfriend decided she had had enough and I was free to do whatever I wanted.
Went out to the main menu thinking I might play some Assassin's Creed when I noticed a new game in my menu... wtf.... FIFA 17. I have nothing against fifa games, but I had no intention of buying it. This struck me as odd. Checked my mail and I had received a mail saying. Thank you for your purchase. What the hell is going on here... opened the mail. I had accidently purchased fifa 17 super deluxe edition AND a season pass for Battlefield 1. A game I don't own... btw.. that super deluxe fifa is friggin expensive. Went back to read terms of service and the possible right to get my money back. Apparently I don't have the possibility to return the digital purchase once it has been downloaded. @!$# me right?
So a word of warning. Turn your ps4 off or at least disconnect the controller before using it on your PC.
Sorry for long post. Just had to share.
Yes I am an idiot...

Have you tried contacting customer services? As a loyal customer they shouldn't shaft you like that and the terms of service are to protect them from idiots claiming for stuff they don't have the right to... but that doesn't mean that they can't do it. Worth a try for what must be in excess of £100 worth of stuff (btw go by old money if converting cos that must be like me suggesting each cost you £5 these days I would also recommend against playing games whilst falling asleep... something I regularly do as I play in bed before going off to sleep. I managed to wipe my Just Cause 3 progress a couple of nights ago (had almost upgraded everything and had completed all but the last mission). Apparently I paused, clicked new game and accepted 'this will wipe your save' warning. At least it didn't cost me any monies

I switch my HDMI over a lot and leave the PS4 on. I've yet to have my fudge cake make a purchase. My cat has tried to play some golf once in a while though.

Did the fudge cake turn out OK? I struggle to see how any fudge cake would not be OK. To answer your question though. It was excellent!

Happened to a girl I know this very week. Sony are refusing to refund her so far. Pathetic display of incompetence from Sony, again! I've already removed my card details.

Just got off the phone with Sony. They refuse to refund the money to my credit card, but we're willing to refund to my psn wallet. Not a perfect solution by any means, but at least I can spend that money on something I might want..

This happened to me on my XBOX 360. My daughter, probably around 2 at the time managed to subscribe to a years worth of golf membership. I rang MS and told them what happened and they did refund!
EDIT: It should have read Gold Membership, I have Golf on the brain a tell ya!

At least you have excellent fudge cake to drown your sorrows in. Fortunately I don't have a credit card attached to my account at all and just go with PSN cards. Usually just buy them as I need them so I never have much more than 10 bucks at any time. I think I have something like 26 cents sitting in my account at the moment. Never been burned with any unwanted purchases or possible account theft in the past, but this has just always seemed like the easiest way to ensure nothing ever happens.
