Received an exemption from Web in week 1. Played the PGA event and want to do late registration Monday. I had already registered for the week 2 Web event before I knew I was going to receive an exemption. The registration change was automatic in CC. But how does it work on the PRO tours? Do I have to ask administration to withdraw me from the Web event so I can late register for PGA? Or will I be able to do that myself Monday (Or maybe it is Tuesday now due to the delay??)
Any guidance would be most appreciated...

You can use the late registration feature to use the exemption immediately (obviously this week being the exception until score submission opens) or you could choose to use it on any event w/ open registration effectively giving you 3 weeks worth of events to pick from. Exemption use is not mandatory (in the Web.com) either so you can choose not use it and it will expire after Friday.

Thank you sir. Always most helpful. Played the PGA rounds already, so would be "uncool" if I did not use the exemption for that. Will withdraw from the Week 2 web event and late register for the PGA event first thing Tuesday morning. Was just hoping I would not have some sort of issue with the withdrawing from Web event part and cause a DQ there...

Possibility that I will be earning my first exemption to PGA this week. So this coming Monday I can late register for the PGA tourney and play it? Just verifying. I'm guessing I also have to withdraw from the Web event on Sunday once the exemption is official.

I'm guessing I also have to withdraw from the Web event on Sunday once the exemption is official. No need to withdraw. If you late register for the PGA on Monday, you would automatically be removed from the web tourney. |

Oh well, moot point. Missed exemption by a stroke. But at least now I know the procedure for the next time.
