HTOC does not count towards your crossover events or an event "miss" for our purposes because it is a "limited field" event.
Playing on the Executive Tour is always an option.

My understanding is you could also play the Euro tour event that week.

So I'm a bit confused. The PGA's first event (that isn't the ToC) starts on January 10th. There is a European and Executive tour that starts earlier and ends on the 11th and 12th of January. So here are my questions.
1. Are we allowed to play in a tournament that has an ending date that overlaps with a starting date of another tour? - IE can you play Euro tour even which ends on Jan 12 but start the PGA which starts on Jan 10? 2. If this is allowed, I'm assuming that if we play on the Euro Tour this counts as one of 10 cross-overs, but if we play on the Executive Tour it does not? 3. Are we even allowed to play in other tour normal tournaments like the Champion/Executive tours? - I ask this last question because the PGA/EURO tour are basically the same level of skill/qualification. It seems unfair that since the PGA doesn't start until a week later, those on the tours that didn't qualify, have to deal with people like me playing in THEIR tournament.
I'm sorry for all the scenarios but looking at the current rules things are a bit confusing. In the end i just wanna play, but I don't want to so it illegally or piss anyone else off.

Yes, as long as you qualify by the crossover rules we will publish shortly2. If this is allowed, I'm assuming that if we play on the Euro Tour this counts as one of 10 cross-overs, but if we play on the Executive Tour it does not? Correct - playing in an Executive Tour does not count as a cross-over event. Playing in the opposite pro tour as your tour card does count as a cross-over event.3. You can play in the Executive Tour - this will be a place to go if your tour has a week off or if you are not interested in competitive golf. It's just a fun tour with a leaderboard but no money or points involved. You can only play in the Champions Tour if you own a Champions Tour card. There won't be many weeks where a pro tour and Web/Champions tour clash on the Executive Tour.
I'm sorry for all the scenarios but looking at the current rules things are a bit confusing. In the end i just wanna play, but I don't want to so it illegally or piss anyone else off. Sorry, we still haven't updated the schedule (it's on my to-do list prior to January) so I can understand how it's confusing. All Tours will start and end on the same days (there may be an exception for Tournaments that end on Mondays in real life). Example:Most golf events are Thursday to Sunday (4 days) TGCT events are Saturday to Sunday (9 days) The events overlap so that there are 2 weekends per event so members have more opportunity to complete their rounds. As long as you're not playing two events (on two different tours) with the exact same start/end dates, you'll be fine.

Playing on the Executive Tour does not count as a cross-over tour.
Cross-over tour (the only 2 combinations possible) PGA card owner playing European Tour event European card owner playing PGA Tour event

1 of 10... did I miss an announcement about the cross over/schedule rules? No, we aren't ready to post it yet - but the tidbits of info we have released are where these questions are coming from. Once we release the info it should become clear.
