Honestly, I'm pretty stunned by the fact that this tour still has 80+ players a week with TGC being almost replaced by TGC2. This is awesome... although it means more work for my guys doing all the scoring stuff! Great job, boys! I love this event and look forward to it every week. π

Played Red Brick Road with the man himself Clint Kelso last week, it's a really nicely put together golf course. It'll be nice to play the 18th this time! Speaking of the man himself, I stopped half way round Palmerston Water last night. What happend Clint, did you let your wife play?

Imagine how busy it'll be with the expected influx of new players when TGC 2 hits. 100, maybe 150 weekly players wouldnt surprise. Great job as always fellas.

Had another good one at the start of week 29. Promptly threw it away on that BEAST of a second course, but a couple of good rounds in the past few days is a nice feeling. I know Mr. Kuo had called out the PC guys for not being competitive, so I'm doing my best to not suck at least once ever 3 rounds. No promises, though...

Played week 30. Enjoyed all courses and was enjoying myself until I got to Clint's masterful looking torcher chamber. Nothing frustrates me more than a Kelso course. Lol.

Just played the newest RRCC. It's been a while since I've hit 40 under. With two firm courses here, I didn't think I could do much better than mid -30's, but I got lucky with back to back eagles on the second course.
-14 -15 -11
Red Brick Road was my only loss in the Elimination Tournament round robin this week, so I wanted some payback. I'm pretty happy with the 11 under and no bogeys here.
Here are my lucky back to back eagles:

Third I believe is firm and 170's.
First I believe is firm and 140's.

Week 29, shot a reasonable -10 at Fire Grove and then a nice -8 at Palmerston Water, currently the best score on the Xbox. So, after 2 I'm one shot off the Xbox leader and 3 ahead of the Jeter Fire up Koufinisi Island full of confidence and ready for a shootout with Matt Medina, and proceed to go out in +1 37 . Came home in 29 but the damage was done. Nice shooting Matt by the way, should get you a solid finish

Am I the only person who see's stuff like this? I had assumed a general rule of thumb in course creation as it relates to pin selection was to avoid areas like these: I ask this because I can't remember the last time that I've seen someone else post a screenshot of a pin for an event I've participated in, so I'm wondering if it's just a "me" problem. To be honest - even though I disagree with this pin positioning choice based on my own opinions - I'm not really bothered by it, because I've played so many camel-humped, side-hill, triple breaking putts in the last few months that it's just standard at this point (not speaking only/specifically to RRCC obviously). I'll either stick it to within 3 feet and make birdie or take my 2-put t......I hope When I started playing TGCT events last September, I thought that I had read a post about generally acceptable pin placements which precluded pins having yellow and/or red slopes anywhere near this close - I thought it was at least 1 or 2 full grids outside of the box centered on the hole. Have I made this up, just completely misunderstood this concept from the start...or am I missing something? Would love to know if others notice these things or if it's something specific to my gameplay somehow...thanks!
